Knowing what the couples are dancing this week, what do you think the odds are that Emma won't be in the top 2?
Her ballroom is good and the American Smooth never fails to impress, but I so hope that Mark and Louisa do well (as they are the most likely to score highly), and then Emma may go.

well I really hope Claire and Brendan stay in and that Claire, Carol and Mark do well...don't care about the others

I know its only guess work, but where do you think the couples will place with the judges?

This sums up my hopes as well

I predict the following order for the judges - not having seen the traing footage from last night

1. Emma (even if she makes umpteen mistakes)
2. Mark
3. Louisa
4. Matt
5. Carol
6. Claire....

Would like it to be absolutely fair scoring from the judges - with them judging on what they actually see on the night - not on past comments/ performances/ personal favourites/ pre-decided placings....

... and I 've just fed the pigs and they are all set for take off!

To hard to guess. But I agree Emma might need to be in the top 2 or even top to be safe. The only worry is that the judges might think so too and that might reflect in their votes.

Hoping Matt manages to do a decent Jive..

why do I feel that this is going to open the 'Emma Bunton will be top whatever she does' floodgate again????

How on earth can you guess who will be placed where without seeing ANY of the dances?

Agree No: 1, 5 and 6.

2, 3 and 4 we'll just have to see. I think each judge has in mind who they want to be in the final three and can be quite sophisticated as to how they individually score to try and achieve what they think is the correct final.

Other that the Beeb manipulating the programme to achieve the highest publicity possible and thereby ratings, I don't think there is any ulterior motive.

To be brutely honest, I don't think the BBC particularly care about who wins or loses, their publicity machine will deal and have a great story whatever. That's what they've been doing all these weeks.

Because, more often then not the judges will put emma there because she smiles and looks confidant-well no wonder her job for 10years has been to perform

My hope and expectations......hmm...

Well, I expect to get ridiculously drunk so I can cope with tension etc......

I also expect Brendan and Claire to get mauled by judges

I hope they stay in, but do not think they will.

so this is just another thread aimed at having a go at Emma Bunton ... I'm outta here ....

I guess it will be

1. Louisa
2. Emma
3. Mark
3. Carol
5. Matt
6. Claire

Well, that's a combination of how I think the couples will do and where I think the judges will place them. I think the Waltz will be a good dance for Carol and the Jive won't suit Matt as much, although I'm preparingfor Matt to come out and shock me again!

I have to agree with others...I really want Carol, Matt, Mark and to a lesser extent Claire to all get through!

Well its not directly aimed at emma bashing, becasue she can't help it that the judges are biased towards her.

1) Emma
2) Mark
3) Louisa
4) Carol
5) Matt
6) Claire

Have a feeling Emma will have been putting in the hours this week and will be rewarded with top marks. Also think Mark will be back to his best.

I am a not too sure about the others, but I am not convinced at this stage that Matt Dawson will be able to pull off the Jive. If he does then my scoring goes out the window

Hope is that Emma's a.) choreography is actually interesting for once (no idea what's happened to Darren this year, re-watching he and Jill the choreography is just outstanding) and b.) she puts in 110%. I can tell she's got it in her, she's just got to find whatever it is Matt found. I'd hope she can at least reach her potential before going.

Also hope we don't lose Claire and Brendan who I have an irrational love for lately and don't want to see go. I'd much rather lose the dull as dullsville Carol and Matthew.

I expect Matt to suffer a bit this week with his Jive, Mark to pull something out of the bag again and be on top form and Louisa to be Louisa. If Emma *doesn't* wow, then I expect to see her going.

The soundings from the Live at SCD thread are that soapboy has seen Matt's jive - and it is good.

Still not convinced to be honest, it's so fast that I think it's dangerous dance for him on the night - even if rehearsals do go well.

I would love him to nail it though and if he does he might even overtake Mark as my second favourite behind Carol!

I really hope that Claire and Brendan stay in this week followed by Carol and Matthew........those two couples have got my respect esp how they have handled some of the stuff thrown at them from the judges........but not just for that reason.

Both also very dignified,classy ladies

Yes I will reserve judgement until tomorrow night, as I am still not sure about it. If he does nail it then he will deserve a place in the final imo.

Am I the only one who has no expectations and therefore thinks that I shall enjoy myself without any anxieties tomorrow?

Have to disagagree with Swonky about Darren's choreography. The actual choreography of the quickstep, foxtrot viennese waltz were superb and were commented on by the judges. His choreography for the samba was good too. I feel you are basing your comments on last week, where he had no time with Emma to work on a more elaborate routine.

I hope everybody perform well and the judges mark them fairly (though I have no hope on that). I want the couple who is overmarked to go, whoever it is.
Dancingles
24-11-2006
I don't want anyone to go just because I feel they are overmarked, which will not be their fault. I want to weakest dancers to go, so that the standard stays high and we get the best final.

My hopes this week are that everyone is marked correctly and it doesn't get personal.

I also want Mark to come top so the two hours before the results show are not as horrendous as last week!
