Corrie ~ Friday 24th November
Friday 24 November 7.30 - 8pm ITV1
Danny (Bradley Walsh) is in a state of shock after the previous evening's stunning discovery. He can't make sense of anything and when Jamie (Rupert Hill) and Frankie (Debra Stephenson) arrive to collect the rest of her things, he is furious. He insists that their affair is just a way of them getting back at him. But when they tell him that they are in love the red mist descends and he chases them out of the flat out onto the quayside. He lets fly at Jamie and a vicious fight ensues with the brawling pair ending up on the canal. With a hysterical Frankie screaming from the water's edge Danny gets the better of his son – has he killed him? Back at the factory everyone is oblivious to the drama unfolding a few miles away. The workers are flushed with their triumphant darts success and Liam (Rob James Collier) is starting to regret making the bet in the first place. Tracy (Kate Ford) is still playing her mind games with Claire (Julia Haworth), and having set up a `night out' with her neighbour she cries off making what sounds like a lame excuse. Claire is falling for the ruse hook line and sinker and thinks that Charlie (Bill Ward) has put a stop to the evening out. Rita (Barbra Knox) is back from her ill-fated trip to Hungary but is still in no mood to forgive Norris (Malcom Hebden). Having anticipated her animosity, Norris has bought her a very practical welcome home gift – will it do the trick? Elsewhere, Hayley (Julie Hesmondhalgh) is still concerned about Becky's (Katherine Kelly) continuing friendship with Slug (Marshall Lancaster). This episode of CORONATION STREET is written by Joe Turner, produced by Steve Frost and directed by Alan Wareing. Coronation Street is made by ITV Productions. Tonight's Episode Discuss here!!

I hate how Danny is made out to be the bad guy. I wish he had killed them both.

![]() Fair enough, it's a bigger blow to Danny since Frankie and Jamie are sleeping with eachother but imo what goes around comes around. Having said that, Frankie and Jamie are a pair of sick individuals. Last edited by Butters : 24-11-2006 at 20:09. |

I am in favour of Danny. Frankie and Jamie ARE sick!
If anyone has any suggestions on HOW ON EARTH Jamie's continued presence on Coronation Street will be explained once Frankie & Danny leave, please put your answers on a postcard and send them to ITV Productions! |

A somewhat variable episode tonight. One of the highlights was the expression on Hayley's face as Slug & Becky were playing tonsil tennis. Her face said all that we needed to know & no doubt millions of very felt the same. Hope none of you were eating when that particular sequence was on
I've said before that Framie has failed to grab me & I wasn't that keen on the scenes in the Baldwin flat tonight. However the outside scenes, particularly those in the water were convining & well done & Jamie certainly looked like he'd been given a beating. Debra Stephenson however was slightly below par and as she watched Danny & Jamie from the bank I almost felt that her reactions were more suited to her going into labour. Nice to see Rita back. The humour was slightly farcical & certainly not the best material that Malcolm Hebden & Barbara Knox have been given to work with but it was a nice contrast from the continuing Baldwin saga. I liked Norris's plea to Blanche not to leave him alone & Rita's comment to Emily that she should have stabbed Norris with the pen. As for those 'pumps' I think Reet should wear them all the time. She could set a new fashion in OAP footwear! Factory stuff was ok but nothing special. I had to laugh when Sally said that "we won" despite the fact that she wasn't even at the darts match. 6 and a half out of 10. |

Do you think that you over anyalyze the programme? Did you actually take time to watch it or did you sit with a pen and paper taking notes?

I'm glad Jamie's staying,i think he's a brilliant actor.I'd love to see him back in the factory & maybe Adam could move in with him. Also,Leanne's back next year & of course there's Violet's baby. I thought the Framie scenes were outstanding tonight,Rupert,Debra & Bradley were superb. The fight was brilliant, poor Jamie though but he's ok. Can't wait for next friday's dramatics now! Why all the sympahty for Danny? he had an affair with his sons girlfriend, I totally agree with Frankie & Jamies relationship being a bit on the sick side but at the end of the day Danny is only getting back what he dished out.
