I would love to see Carol just let herself go i think if she did then she could go top.

My 4 favourites have gone, Camilla and Erin then Anton and Ian

Hmmm. It should be Claire and Brendan pre-dance. We'll see, post-dance.

Sorry but really have to disagree

Karen is just the best in my mind and her and mark so won't go this week

All the pros "blow their own trumpets". They have to - it is part of being a professional ballroom dancer. Karen must be so happy having such a good dancer as her celebrity.

I hope Darren and Emma do go she hasnt put as much effort in as most of the other celebs

I hope Emma & Darren go too! I'm just worried that the judges will over mark her so she stays.

I don't think Emma and Darren will go to be honest, last week will probably have shocked them into putting more work in so they'll end up top of the leaderboard again and be pretty safe from the public vote. Give it a week or so though and she might be middle of the leaderboard again. Then we'll see ....

As for this week, I would have placed my bet on Matt before his American Smooth, now I'm not sure who'll go!

I suspect Matt's jive may be a disappointment tonight and he'll be in the bottom 2 - with Brendan & Claire.

I don't think Matt's Jive will be half as bad as everyone expects it to be!!!

She only did about 12 hours last week though didn't she? Can't imagine her putting in less than that.

It obviously doesnt mean as much to Emma as it does the other celebs I think.

I mean she toured the world performed in front of millions obviously she a bit bored, i think she should go personally.

*Feels Emma bashing comments coming on *

I'm not overly keen either but I just can't see her going this week. And the girl can dance, even if it's not as well as the judges sometimes make out.

I'm going to stick up for Emma here a bit. The reason she only did 12 hours was because of other commitments and not lack of effort; there are only so many hours in the day! OK so if she was really that dedicated to Strictly, she wouldn't be doing all her singing and performing etc. (at the same time) but it's not as if she's sitting at home watching TV instead of training. Let's also remember that the reason she's doing Strictly is to relaunch her solo career so she's striking whilst the iron's hot!

I'm not really an Emma fan but I do like Darren so I want them to stay in!

Don't worry, I wasn't Emma bashing (well, not much! ). I know it was because of other commitments, I was just trying to make the point that I think she'll be further up the leader board this week because she'll have put more hours in; I mentioned the 12 hour figure to demonstrate that it would be very difficult for her to do less training than last week when springer2 commented that s/he didn't think Emma would have put that much work in due to the album release!

I also like Darren but am not overly keen on his partnership with Emma this year, just lacks some spark in my opinion.

Neither do I.
But everyone is going to be looking for faults and any reason to say it was crap. He's at a disadvantage with the judges by going first.
With the song Lilia can go crazy with the choreography.

I agree actually. For me, the celebrity seems to effect how much I like the pro they're paired with. For example I couldn't stand Ian with Denise but with Zoe he seemed less cocky. I loved Darren with Jill but it's not the same with Emma. Still love him though!
