Well earning money from PA's doesn't seem to have been a problem so far, she gets paid by the clubs whether the customers like her or not, but dealing with the reaction of the crowds may have been difficult in some places. |

And she's been in her honeymoon period up till now, before her 15 minutes are up. Once she's no longer fashionable it will be more difficult

Yes, I agree. Most RTV contestants find it hard to extend their 15 mins don't they (with a few exceptions)? |

As long as people turn up and buy drinks that is all they will care about...those few who heckle her have likely gone specifically to do so (which is extemely unfair on the majority who will have gone to see her for a fun night out as..only to find their night ruined by a few drunken fools...a bit like yobs who go to football matches and start a ruck, ruining it for the most of the other people). The fact is that even the most popular comedians get hecklers in the audience at clubs....as I'm sure most controversial marmite like characters do. Last edited by Callous : 30-11-2006 at 17:11. |

Either she's lucky and gets some more TV work or something that she can do as a career or she doesn't - same as with all the people who come out of BB - but at least at the moment she is earning money and seems to be doing better than the other BB contestants this year |

Well, she can't have had many receptions like Loughborough then, coz she's still being booked. |

Realty tv also has to be handled carefully as doing too much too soon would devalue her as a commodity. The next big round of reality shows starts in March/ April with the likes of "Comic Relief does Fame Academy" and "The Games", both Endemol created, so both potential shows for Nikki(although i'm doubtful she would want to appear on The Games). ..or there is always a chance for the next series of Strictly Come Dancing. Another likely scenario would be ITV signing her up for whatever reality show they put up against Big Brother 2007. Of course, if you want her to do more tv, then email shows/channels that you think she would be good for. |

we've had lots of ideas here - all we need is a tame producer or someone with a lot of money |

Nevertheless, to me it seems that she has a very good sense of what suits her - with the one glaring exception of her eye makeup! She is just SO bad at that. But the clothes that she wears are usually spot on - just right for her - and the occasion. She doesn't overdress (much) and, in fact, often wears ordinary clothes that anyone can buy from the main high street stores. That's good for people to know - i.e. I can look good like Nikki - and it needn't cost a lot. So - how about a new range of teen clothing . . . NIKKIWEAR! ![]() |

The mags make me laugh about the "hit" and "miss" outfits. I buy the Evening Standard regularly and their Friday mag often has pics of celebs at parties with comments about how great they look. A couple of weeks/months later they'll have the exact same pic but with a "who allowed her out in this" comment. They must think all readers have a memory like Pete. |

i don't get y some losers actually bother n u r right - the other PAs might hav been a lot better I was at Madonna's first PA in London when she appeared at the Camden Palace at the night run by Steve Strange and Rusty Egan. She got boo'ed coz she was miming, but after her first song no-one could be bothered and we all went to the bars and left her to it. |

[quote=On the Heath]Do you think Nikki has any irons in the fire at the moment? I would think she needs to capitalise on her BB fame quite quickly. You know what they say about 15 minutes of fame... soon we will all be talking about the next lot of BB contestants and few people will be interested in last years batch.
EDIT Unless she's happy to drift back into ordinaryness, though I dont think she would be[/QUOTE Nobody in the previous six BB's has been quite like Nikki and I doubt if anybody in BB8 will come anywhere near her. Nikki is a one off and will not be overshadowed by anyone. She has already had more post BB Television airtime than all the rest of this years housemates put together. She is probably just as instantly recognisable by the general public at large (and maybe more so) as Pete. She had six weeks of airtime on a primetime Saturday morning childrens slot and also appeared on another Saturday morning show for the BBC. And she has had numerous other T.V appearances. She won a major television award which was voted for by the public. And her face has been on the front of numerous magazines during and since BB has ended. People who become this well known do not disappear overnight and I am sure we will be seeing more of Nikki in the future. Of all the other previous BB housemates only Jade,Kate and Brian (and to some extent Michelle) have had long term success. I think Nikki will join them. These people have transcended BB and whatever happened on future shows has not affected their continued success. |

Why do you always write such great posts I agree with all you say but you put it so much more succintly that I could Whether people on these forums like it or not Nikki is a one-off - she has had much better exposure than anyone else this year. I just hope that her agents can capitalise on that and find her something worthy of her talents Love you really - but you know that - don't you? Not in that way of course ..... ! |
