Nikki was probably on to a loser trying to get into the Volstead place anyway, they seem to be pitching themselves as 'upmarket exclusive membership'.

Why did she go there? Was she invited and if so by whom? I'd be surpised if she just thought, "Let's try that one" while walking past. Seems a bit unusual.

Maybe whoever she was with got let in and she didn't and that's why she threw a wobbly? I'm afraid the possibility of a set-up can't be dismissed.

Still I imagine the 3am sluts etc will have a field day

Doubt that Nikki is bothered, I would not let it annoy you.
Nikki and Ash have resolved their differences. If people call in talking about Nikki just show the impact she made on them.
