or how often?

Nikki didn't put herself up for answering the questions Myleen suggested she should do it. Nikki at first said no and didn't push herself forward but just as Bill said he would do it Nikki agreed to go up and he okayed it.

I'm glad she did as Bill is a clever man and would certainly have answered the bird flu question and may have left Wendy in the shade. Nikki is just so funny to watch and as it was a close call between Wendy Richards so with Nikki it had a more balanced and funny final outcome.

I agree with cahrliemay some of the other contestants probably would have got some of the questions wrong go nikki go love that gal

She should really have let Bill Odie answer the questions, he would have got them all right, Graham Norton even gave her an opportunity to back out knowing she isn't very bright but she chose instead to ignore him.

Why should she have let Bill Oddie answer the questions? Because you think it would have been a better idea? How ridiculous to state he would have got all the questions right. Any question is only easy if you know the answer, and nobody knows the answers to everything.

Plus i didn't see Nikki ignore Graham, she was put on the spot and stepped up to the plate.

Just found this about TV in 2006....scroll down to 2006 round up....Nikki's picture is used in so many of these reviews and it seems she represents BB.more often than not......

The questions or rather the answers were very easy, someone with average intelligence would have got nearly every question right, do you know any adult in Britain who hasn't heard of bird flu?
Nikki was nominated to answer the questions and refused, so Bill Odie said he would answer them Nikki then decided she would answer them, Grahame Norton then asked her again if it was wise seeing as it was for charity and she again said she would answer the questions.

I agree that Nikkis general knowledge can be scarily lacking. However if the questions had been about current pop music or celebrity gossip i'd bet money that she'd have known more of the answers that Bill. None of them had prior knowledge as to what the questions were going to be.

Its only with hindsight that maybe Bill would have been a better choice don't you think? Hardly Nikkis fault

Not really I think everyone knew including Nikki that she would fail miserably

well wendy did rubbish too. It a enterment show not mastermind. I enjoyed Nikki going up and did not care who won.

Can people please stop being petty I have no problem with you dislikeing Nikki. But lerts not get silly now

I hope you are not referring to me being petty, I just think Nikki should have let Bill Odie win some money for charity thats all.

I for one don't think it was obvious she would fail. As i said it was dependant on the questions.

Plus as CM says - it was an entertainment show not mastermind and my goodness she was entertaining

Well said Charlie...I tought nikki was hilarious hav'nt laughed that much in a long time.

Some people just dont know when to give up.

But don't you see that there was no quarantee that Bill would have known the answers, seeing as Nikki had no way of knowing what the questions would be, how can you blame her for losing charity money?

She'd already shown previously that she knew several of the answers that Bill and Myleene had no clue about. Surely you can see that

FGS Nikki is doing well for herself , shes on prime time bbc good luck to her .
Her detractors just dont like it and will pick on the slightest thing just to have a dig

But Wendy won some moey for charity so its all good and no harm done.

It was a fun end of year show with five teams. The Soap Team was in the lead from the beginning and the Showbiz team was in second place throughout so I rather thought the Soap Team winning was a perfect result. Nikki was entertaining as they all were and really there was no reason to care who won as they were all taking part in aid of charity.

Good on everyone who took part including Nikki as she was very entertaining and well done to Wendy for winning.

The idea of the show was to entertain not answer the questions right. How boring would that be?

It really didn't matter at the end of the day because £10k was going to charity come what may.

Winning was never an issue.

Wendy Richards was extremely boring and treated it like she was on mastermind. All she said was pass when she didn't know the answer , and the audience didn't laugh once during her questions.

Grahame Norton must have been extremely grateful to Nikki for ensuring the show didn't finish as a damp squib.

She had the audience laughing during every question with anguished faces and funny thoughtful poses and expressions.

They laughed loud when she said "I dont know I never watch BBC2" , and at the "a cold" answer. These were just two of the funny things she said.

The point is whether you are laughing with or at her she make people laugh and thats what is important. She is naturally funny.

The audience loved her and there was a great cheer when she answered a question correctly. Unlike the polite clapping for Wendy Richards.

And she never forced herself forward. Myleen asked her if she wanted to do it and she said she wasn't sure. Then she looked at the audience to see what their reaction was and many were shouting and encouraging her to do it.

So she relented and said O.K. I'll do it. She was not even looking at Bill Oddie at the time , who never said anything but just had his arms in the air.

Did you honestly laugh when she said a cold?

Yes it was funny. The way she says things whether right or wrong sensible or stupid tends to be funny.

I laughed , the rest of the contestants laughed , Grahame Norton laughed and the audience laughed.

I laughed too

Would Bill, have known the Take That or the Kate Moss questions.....he would of course of known the Bird flu one.....but as been said before, it is all dependant on the questions.

But, really it was a light entertainment game show as well as reviewing the years events, hardly Mastermind has someone has said.

There will always be a winning and losing team......money was won for a charity afterall..

I just got the giggles again after reading this line! Guess its just the way she delivered it that made it so funny.
