I think Nikki and Richards relationship was the truest and best of all the friendships that occurred in BB this year.
From the start Richard treated Nikki like a lost little girl that needed to be looked after and Nikki easily fell into this role.
On first impressions I imagine it would be easy to see Nikki in this way, due to her tiny frame and young outlook on life.
As time went on Richard began to see there was more to Nikki than he had first thought.
They had great conversations about films and music and other things that they enjoyed and had in common.
This caused the relationship to change and Richard started to treat Nikki as more of an equal.
The comedy and banter between them had me really laughing at times and I especially enjoyed the time when Richard was taking the micky about Nikki's disorganised (downright untidy to be honest) clothes draws.
Nikki took this in great heart and was really funny in explaining her lack of organisation.
Of course they had their bad moments when they got on each others nerves , but this never lasted for long and no real grudges were kept.
Their relationship reached the stage where they could freely take the micky out of each other Knowing that neither would be really offended.
This of course is the sign of a real and true friendship because its only when you feel very close to someone or feel very comfortable with knowing how that person is going to react that this kind of interaction can take place.
Towards the end they had built a real and genuine affection for each other.
I think their friendship will last for a very long time because it was built on a gradual and real basis that contained no falseness but complete honesty.
