Nikki mentioned twice (and pic of her first eviction) on BBC News Entertainment under 'Big Brother Bother' , first mention for 'Phone Vote Anger' and second for 'Bad Language'.

Nikki may pick up some bits of work that may otherwise have gone to Jade e.g. BBLB, BBBM, panel shows and daytime magazine show appearances, but she may also loose out on some promotions work etc. The fallout from this situation may cause event organisers to think twice about booking a "reality TV star" particularly a contraversial one from Big Brother like Nikki, Grace or Lea. There's a danger that some people (the public, media, other celebs) will turn against the cult of celebrity that comes with being a BB contestant (there are already lots of actors and entertainers that express the opinion that this reality TV "trash" is putting talented people out of work). The genre itself is also under attack with todays licence fee announcement and calls for the BBC and C4 to return to "high brow" programming (Fame Academy has already been a victim of government interference).

Thansk Ian for this post - I think you may be right about the long term future for reality TV stars. If Nikki can be given something to show that she has talent rather than just being a BB winner then she will be OK - but I think the days might be numbered for those who have nothing to offer - like Jade. Although to be fair Jade was an exception - most of the BB housemates from previous shows have not had long term careers like Jade - the only ones to be successful are the ones that had something more to offer - that's why there are so few of them

No crowd for tonights eviction. I think Jade's getting off lightly.(Surely it won't be Shilpa). Just as well as it would probably have been a riot.

Much discussion on this out there -----> should she have to face an audience - but I suspect that the police might have had soemthing to do with this decision. And I think somewhere I read that Jade was upset because her mother didn't go out to a proper eviction crowd and she (Jade) said this was worse than going out to boos. So she might not like it at all. Might be wrong. She should be made to face up to the accusations though

If she's going straight into the studio then will she go out of the diary room like her mum - the others are going to know there's something really odd if she does.

Its been an interesting few days - at least its been something to occupy ourselves while waiting for Nikki news. Guess there won't be much of her in the papers next week either as it'll all be about Jade

I'm glad theres no crowd, some people are baying for blood She's been horrible, but its a telly show, and Shilpa is perfectly safe in the house and outside, I'd be more worried about the other three when they leave if people want to worry
