Does Emma and Louisa have an advantage?

Now we are down to the last six I think they each have their own 'advantages' and that is what we are seeing in most of dances. Health warning the following in my personal opinion.

Mark and Matt are sportsman - they are used to endless repetitive training and have considerable strength, fitness and stamina, and it would appear from the comments on ITT that Mark has a bit of reputation for being pretty hot on a dance floor before this competition.

Louisa and Emma have stage school and would have been taught dance regularly (btw Dance is a GCSE subject at my daughters comp).

Carol has all the poise of being an ex-model and Claire has many years acting experience - both of these also bring a certain 'knowing' to their dance (which Louisa at 17 will take years to develop) - I knew their had to be some bonus to attaining a 'certain age'

It should be "Do Emma and Louise have an advantage ?"

And yes, I'd say they do in their own way. You have to be at a certain dance standard to even get into Sylvia Young. I know, I tried. LOL ! Not to mention dancing every single day for years on end. That can't fail to give you an advantage. However it's all swings and roundabouts as you can have a natural ability that no amount of training can give you (eg. Jill) or you can be a sportsman who can train for 200 hours and never get tired (eg. Matt) or even, you can have a winning personality that overshadows dancing ability full stop (ie. Darren Gough).

So therefore, yes but that doesn't necessarily mean it makes you a winner.

I actually think they have a disadvantage rather than an advantage. Knowing that they have been to stage school the public expect a higher standard from both Emma and Louise which doesn’t help them win votes…

I wouldn’t be surprised if neither of them got to the final.

By now they have all had 200 hours of professional dance training. They are all on an equal footing.
