When the 'Nouveaux Baldwins' arrived on Coronation Street, Frankie & Vera became really close friends.

Two years later, it's like they've never met!

Vera was the first person that welcomed Frankie - she since moved onto Deirdre, Eileen and Liz. ould you want to hang out with a pensioner in your 30's?

Mmmm. You're right. I think we're supposed to believe that being in the cafe together their friendship has endured, but they hardly have any other contact. Vera was part of the process Frankie went through from being quite snobby to being one of the girls. It's a shame they don't have more scenes together.

Then again I suppose friendships do change over time.

It's nice to see Liz Dawn looking so well these days.

Would you want to shag your son?

I'd pick Vera any day of the week!

And wasn't Frankie supposed to be looking after Jack's pigeons? What'll happen to them now? No sense of responsibility, that Frankie woman!

It's not been forgotten about, the other day when Becky had her first day with Vera and Frankie arrived a little bit late Becky asked what she was (As they had decided Becky was the cleaner and Vera was the chef) and Vera replied "my bessie mate".

It is sweet, And remember when Vera done the ironing for the Baldwins

I agree that the scenes when Frankie first arrived were funny, especially those which involved Danny being appalled by her inviting Vera round every five minutes. Plus, it was amusing when Vera moved out after an argument with Jack.

We'll just have to see if these two say a goodbye.
