Did anyone else ring the right number but get the wrong couple?I hate it when that happens as you don't know if the voting is 'true' or not.

Yes it was. Last week a lot of people who voted for Matt and Lilia got Claire and Brendan. You'd have thought they would have sorted it out for this week. Last week it didn't matter too much but this week it could be crucial! As a Matt and Lilia fan I want them to get through - but not unfairly.
I've been voting for Claire and Brendan er...a few times, and got through to them each time. No problem.
This is patronising, sorry! but are you certain you dialled the right number? It could possibly be a mistake with the recording, in which case it won't affect the results... but if every call were actually going to Matt and Lilia, and Claire and Brendan get no votes whatsoever, I think they would notice when they came to "count and verify"!

It's the right numer yes, 4014 with Tess saying Claire and Brendan. I've been voting since they danced, get that every time. No problem for me.

Do you mean you dialled Claire & Brendan's number and was told that you've voted for Matt & Lilia? If this is the case, that would be more seious problem than last week as there's technical problem in a deeper level.
Just noticed another person said the same thing in a different thread. If it happens to enough people, there will be complaints. It's unfortunate this week that it's happening between the bottom two couples. Last week Claire got a few of Matt's votes, but Matt was safe in first place with the judges so it didn't matter. If Claire goes out, questions might be asked...
Of course it could have the reverse effect, that the votes are going to Claire anyway, but it panics people into voting a few more times and then she's definitely safe as a result!

The problem is we don't know how many votes have gone wrong. Don't forget some people only vote once for the whole night.

I noticed that comment a minute ago. It's because there's an extra 0 so it will actually dial 0901 121 4001 (without the 3).
I voted Mark and Karen and Carol and Matthew and got them...Matt & Lilia only came up when I voted for them.

Hmm, wonder where that number was given?
LOL at Matt and Lilia getting six extra votes, personally I would have given up or at least checked the number after the second one!
The funny thing is, it would be hard to complain that Claire and Brendan went out as a result. For all we know, they actually stayed in the previous week because of the extra votes they got that should have gone to Matt and Lilia. It almost makes me think it was done on purpose...
If that's the confusion then they should change the numbers completely one week. One extra 0 and one couple will cop the lot and the others nothing...

I was ringing for Claire and Brendan and kept being told that BT couldn't handle the call...lines were busy! Got through from my mobile - but cost me a small fortune!!!!
