Phina was Faith's bitching partner for ccrying out loud

I guess you're saying Faith found Phina ok as a bitching partner but was too scared to tell her off if she overstepped the mark? Interesting "friendship" that

She didn't complain to David. Faith did.

If there are two beds in the room who has got the other one? Can't they offer up their bed for a night?

Steady on, maybe she has some obscure biblical justification that makes appalling, selfish behaviour OK when practised on heathen healthy necks - hell, it's a big book, it'll be in there somewhere!

I blame her pastor - probably a fundamentalist who's been emphasising that as long as she believes the right (biblical) things she'll just slip right up into heaven.

The treating-other-people-as-you'd-like-to-be-treated-yourself thing does tend to get a bit lost with those types.
