Phina volunteering for trials to get more coverage
cazzz

They should have stopped Phina from doing a trial until everyone has had a go.

Myleene and Faith should have had a go on the last trial, so I hope Myleene volunteers for the next (she will go down in my estimation if she doesn't).

Even Lauren realised she needed to do a trial after being in the last 2 yesterday.

Phina was pathetic saying that Lauren put her off getting the second star. She really is there just for herself, and to get as much coverage as possible. Unfortunately her extra coverage is bitching.

What if the others don't want to have a go? I remember some of them have been far from enthusiastic about putting themselves forward

I think she is volunteering because she is a very physical and active person and needs to let some energy out. Those who have left have commented on how boring it is just sitting around.

Tho I suspect if she sat quietly and not volunteered for the trials there be threads about how lazy she is

Yes, she's done well at trials so far, and she's very physical and competitive. It's natural she wants to do more.

In show terms, she may be taking it a bit too far, but the others need to be more assertive or she'll keep taking the lead by default and shouldn't really be blamed for it.

I remember Faith once saying in the BT that she was desperate to do a trial but when it came to it, she didn't put herself forward and she practically admitted to Ant and Dec during her exit interview that she was glad she didn't do any!

Yeah I remember her really wanting to do a trail last week during the camp split, saying so both in the Bushtelegraph and in camp. Only my shock when she looked and sounded reliefed when they told her, it wasnt going to be her. Thanking God.

Just that silly game some play, making out they really want to do a trail or do go, so the opposite happens.

Phina is best at getting stars (amongst the women), which mean food for the camp. Although they are friendly, I think there is an element of competition between Lauren and Phina, which Lauren started with her stupid 'toasting'. I still can't figure why she did that.

As for Myleene, I don't why she isn't volunteering for the trials, maybe she will tomorrow.

I agree. If the other women in the camp want to survive they need to start using their intelligence and beat Phina at her own game.

I think they already are!! Phina has done herself no favours over the past couple of days...using Jan's "bringing home the bacon" line and then blaming Lauren when she failed!

She's great in the trials, I'll give her that, but she's going to burn herself out. Nobody likes a show off, and that's how she's starting to come across.

If Myleene does well in her BTT tomorrow, she'll have managed to get the publics attention without looking desperate or pushy. Phina might have just shot herself in the foot!

I think Phina has already shown herself as a show off and not a very nice person...bitchiness etc. So why is she still there?

This is what is confusing me. Jan also hasn't been very nice and she's still there also.

So we've got two women who are abhorrent to many people but the public don't want them out.

And then you have the polls with David and Jason topping them with Mylene in third place.

I think most people will agree that David is popular for a variety of reasons.....all of which other contestants have one or two of his qualities. It's David's all-roundness that is keeping him top of the polls and knocking Jason off his top spot.

I don't understand why Jason isn't judged on the same level as Mylene and it's just generally accepted that he is a favourite and that's it.

So when I said Mylene needs to do something other than be just nice, I mean it. Because Jason IMO has done less but ahead of her.

And to beat David, she would really need to do something different.

It might sound a bit crazy to say this, but the only one I think that can beat David at this moment in time is Jan. Bcause her kind of game is the kind that will garner sympathy and all sorts of reactions and 'isms' from the public. She will end up with just about every organisation and support group in the country behind her for whatever grievance they feel she's suffered at the hands of her 'enemies'.

So in terms of Mylene winning this game...I think her chances are slim unless she ups the tempo

Which is why she must do a trial tomorrow, I feel if she doesn't she will just fade further into the background...a great trial could see her win it (or at least, come second).

I don't like her in the slightest as she really is a very unpleasant person imo but credit where due. Phina knows how the programme works. Its all about coverage when the audience are voting for who they want to stay. She also knows she is probably the least well known of the batch. Some of the others fail to see this.

I hope Mylene volunteers today or she is decreasing her chances of winning. Nobody wins I'm a celeb without doing a trial.
