What I liked is her saying to faith how she could 'tell Lauren was acting' - she's been doing this for six years.
Right. Having just looked up her biography, i have copied it for our viewing pleasure... Phina has appeared in Footballers Wives and The Bill as well as boasting a US CV which includes roles on Buffy The Vampire Slayer and Charmed. In addition she has appeared as Lauryn Hill on Celebrity Stars in Their Eyes and written a column for the Liverpool Echo. She's hardly treading the boards with Dame Dench & Smith is she. And surely, Footballers Wives, entertaining as it is, is merely the road to Pantomime. After all, every character is practicing to be Widow Twankee (too much make up, over acting, looking like men in drag...) Phina. She's behind you. |

I couldn't think exactly how to describe her, so I looked up the precise meaning of 'horrible'... and heres what she is (obviously this is only my opinion) abhorrent, abominable, appalling, awful, beastly, cruel, detestable, disagreeable, disgusting, dreadful, eerie, execrable, fairy, fearful, frightful, ghastly, grim, grisly, gruesome, heinous, hideous, horrendous, horrid, loathsome, lousy, lurid, mean, nasty, obnoxious, offensive, repellent, repulsive, revolting, scandalous, scary, shameful, shocking, sickie, terrible, terrifying, ungodly, unholy, unkind |

I liked Phina in the first week, but as the second week has gone on, she has yet to smile about anything unless it involves her being the hero, she has yet to say something nice to or about someone, unless it's for her benefit.
She isn't entertaining me, she irks me, her bitchiness is unecessary, if she's that great, then she should stick to promoting herself (which she's ace at) and stop running others down. |

I reserved judgement on her, she went down bit**ing with Faith, redeemed a bit with winning against Spineless Scott and having the grace to apologise, then got it thrown back in her face by the ****.
Hearing her diss Lauren was bad, Lauren had just done one bungee jump, with no time to recover, I noticed Phina did not mention she had had longer than any of them to get over her bungee. I am sure she could put a negative spin on the organiser's need to leave the rope settings as they were for Lauren, not sheer expediency. Lauren does not claim to be as fit or young as Phina, as a 'journalist' for the Sun, has she intellectual pretensions? |

I think she's odious. Hubby and I had never heard of her or remember seeing her on the telly. In the words of that bi polar girl from this years BB, (The who looks like a Klingon having a cr@p): Who is she? Where did you find her?
I wish she were voted out soon Last edited by Tasi : 26-11-2006 at 09:36. |

I really dislike Phina too. Based on what I've seen in the last fortnight she comes across as a very aggresive individual who is a complete and utter biatch.
I'd never heard of her before this show and hopefully with the attitude she is displaying now won't hear of her much longer. I think her constant putting down of others & their looks is vile as well as her oh I can do so much better than everyone else grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr And rant over

I think the editing of Phina is pretty transparent. They've decided they want to make her the villain. Ant and Dec keep going on about her bitching but they seem to struggle to come up with footage of her bitching anymore than anyone else. A discussion about David's plastic surgery. Big deal.

she's just a heartless, self-serving and aggressive narcissist. she looks down on anybody who doesn't match her aggression because they're "weak" , and if she ever does anything for anybody then she'll extract every last bit of advantage out of it, and if people are stressed or saddened by her actions, well that's tough.

I can't stand her
She is bitchy, selfish, way too competitive and overconfident. For a start what the hell does she know about acting when after seeing her in Footballer's Wives, she can't act her way out of a crisp packet. but could anyone act on Footballer's Wives She made me laugh when she said "I think Lauren was a bit worried because I would look sexy and she didn't," Phina needs about 10 inches of makeup to look even half-decent. and Lauren doesn't have deformed lips. She said Lauren was just acting because she didn't want Phina "to bring home the bacon" but frankly I don't think Lauren even cared about Phina bringing home the bacon, in fact Lauren was happy for her to. The comments about Lauren's weight were nasty and unnecessary I was no fan of Scott's but there was no need to bite and scratch and then when coming face to face him saying "I told you I was going to do it," And finally the bed issue. Jan is an OAP and has a bad back yet Phina wouldn't let her have her bed back because "she pulled her neck" but she offered to get the Celebrity Chest and did cartwheels after she did her bungee jump. And BREATHE

They tried to make out she was greedy and ate more than her fair share of food at the start but then they had to drop that line because they had no footage to prove it As for her bitching, she obviously does it but I'm almost certain that the "sessions" they've shown with her and Faith have been instigated by Faith yet she gets all the blame for it! It'll be interesting to see if she keeps on bitching now that Faith has left assuming she makes it past tonight! |

Isn't Phina supposed to be religious?
If this is the case, she must use religion like everything else, when its purpose suits her. Her snidy secretive (she thinks) conversations she had with Faith about David Gest and others were truly spiteful and certainly not what you would expect from someone supposedly following a religious belief. I am looking forward to when she eventually comes out and then finds out that her remarks have been heard by millions not just the recipient of her chats in the jungle! She'll have to do a helluva lot of backtracking and even then she'll still look an unpleasant woman. |

With the greatest respect, don't you think they are all talking about each other? That is what people do. They are strangers. It is human nature.
We are doing it for goodness sake! If ITV broadcast it all, it would be boring in the extreme. |

I think as well that you will find out the typical and acknowledged meaning for the word, according to Dictionary.com is 'Something or someone particularly detested or avoided; a bugbear as opposed to a literal translation which quite clearly wasn't my meaning. I don't need to read my original post, obviously, I wrote it, it wasn't full of loathing, it was a copied and pasted section of a theasauraus which mean't 'horrible'. Why don't you read the posts properly before making your frankly insulting and unintelligent and therefore boring remarks. |

Do people really take this show THAT seriously. It almost feels as if battle lines have to be drawn. I view it as a gameshow. Some campers have more appealing personalities than others but I feel no real emotion. |

Phina needs about 10 inches of makeup to look even half-decent.
