I'M A Celebrity star Dean Gaffney was last night branded "disgusting" - for playing on his mother's serious illness to win viewers' sympathy.

Apparently in the trial he said he was doing it for his sickmum but a family member says he ignores her when hes in the UK and does nothing to help.

The articale the goes on about his antics with glamour girls and how he cheats on his long term girlfriend

I can't remember him mentioning his mum.

I think you're right.

I have a vague recollection about him mumbling something about 'doing it for you mum' but he's hardly banging on about it is he? It was the only time I've heard it mentioned. It seemed more a case of thinking out loud than anything else.

Surely if he was going for the sympathy vote he would have brought it up when they got their letters.

I have to say I haven't really heard him say a lot about his mother. It's hard to make a fair judgement with only the tabloids for reference!
