Horrified at the extent of Jamie’s injuries, Frankie is lying low at number 6. Scared by the strength of Danny’s reaction, she’s initially frightened when he catches up with her in the yard. But her fear turns to disgust as Danny implies they’re quits now; she’s hurt him back and they can start again. Frankie’s stunned but as the day goes on she realises she needs to talk to Danny. Have his words hit home?

Elsewhere, Les is disappointed when Cilla tells him she’s not in the mood to celebrate their anniversary. He confides in Yana that he thinks Cilla’s having an affair. She’s not convinced but suggests a big romantic gesture could be just what Cilla needs. Les takes Yana’s advice and a romantic meal ‘Battersby style’ is prepared. How will Cilla react?

Tracy ups her games as she feigns illness to Charlie then arouses Claire’s suspicions by keeping the curtains drawn. Charlie’s insistent that she’s not well but Tracy’s got Claire hooked and she asks Bev to keep a lookout.

And Vera’s less than impressed to find Becky working with her at the café. When she then ‘finds’ a tenner under the fridge, Vera isn’t fooled and she can’t wait to fill Hayley in. Has Becky let Hayley down again?

I wish that Becky would stop saying 'alreeet', it's winding me right up.

What's Jamie talking about - he has to go to work? He gave his notice because he was fleeing to London about a week ago.

Perhaps he cancelled it?

Was it just me or did they show a little too much of Jamies groin when showing his injuries?

Tonight's episode was pretty depressing. Much like your average Sunday night really.

A good episode tonight, i agree, it was slightly depressing. I felt sorry for Danny at the end, i can't get over the fact that Frankie actually loves Jamie though, i honestly thought she would still be in love with Danny.

She's a woman; she'll probably change her mind half a dozen times yet

Hi ya

A ********* infested episode but it was still OK

I am amazed that Frankie didn't tell Sean to clear off.

Can't feel sorry for Danny. He can't take no for an answer and thinks the world revolves round him.

What exactly did Bad Becky call Vera

How is it that Jamie still has a job. He never seems to do any work

A so-so episode tonight.

On the upside we had the stuff with Vera & Blanche in Roy's Rolls as they discussed Becky & why Roy & Hayley have given her a job. Becky wasn't too bad either & I quite enjoyed Vera getting wound up because she was being called "Vezza".

Wendi Peters put in a decent performance as Cilla ~ you couldn't help but feel sorry for her, but then we all know what's coming because of the spoilers. Bruce Jones was a bit chronic as Les & almost ruined the scenes which he shared with Wendi. The stuff with him & Yana and him & Fiz / Kirk was also nothing special.

The last scene with Danny & Frankie was very good & Debra made up for the duff performance she gave in Friday's episode when she was at the side of the canal. I also liked her "water polo" comment to Danny. It would have been nice if Bradley Walsh had managed to squeeze out a tear of two at the end of the final scene though.

The Gail / David / Donk stuff was pretty pointless & didn't really add anything to the episode & the stuff with Tracy was a bit stupid:- nobody who wanted people to think that they were ill would open the curtains that wide so that anyone on the street could see them. They'd peek through carefully ensuring that the gap was as small as possible. Still, I suppose Corrie would argue that that should be written off under the "dramatic licence" banner.

6 out of 10.

It was something like "Vezza" I think. I don't think I've ever taken such a strong, instant dislike to a character as I have to Becky. Perhaps it's credit to the actress for playing such an obnoxious person.

I liked it when Hayley showed the tooth fairy box she had bought for the Christening and Becky said, what's he going to keep in there, his stash?

Becky would not even qualify for the finals in Corrie

Give Wendi Peters some good material and look what she can do with it. Bravo. For the first time I felt genuine emotion for Cilla while she sat at the table. I always had great faith in Wendi and she has proved me right. Brilliant actress, she really shone tonight and I can't wait to see what happens next.

Bruce Jones however was just plain bad.
