Scott gives gay people a bad name....


Groups of people are a diversive within the group as they are out of it.

There are nice gay people, horrible gay people and everything inbetween.


The only person Scott gives a bad name to is himself. Its irrelevant to me that hes gay, hes just a bitchy nasty little man and as Ant and Dec said a coward.

Waste of space if you ask me. Never heard of him, don't even recognise him - but then - that's the idea of these 'celebs.' No one knows who they are, it's just their agents putting them forwards in the desperate hope their "marks" will bring in much needed income for them.

Indeed - you never hear people say "Phina gives women a bad name"

I think Phina has proved that woman can be just as strong, powerfull and fearless to what man are suppose to be better at, during her btt's. Giving women a good name.

Scott's nastiness was nothing to with being gay, it was just to do with being the sly lying little worm that is Scott, in the same way that Phina's bitchiness has nothing to do with being female - Scott was every bit as bitchy as she is.

The bitchy, camp, witty, gay Queen Diva stereotype is pretty well established.........I think that was the role Scott was aiming for.............

He wasn't very good at it...............

Quite right@OP, it's as silly as saying that John Prescott gives homeowers a bad name!

Scott is a gay, and he's a pillock, but the one has nothing to do with the other, and if Scott was trying to play it that way, that was his personal choice.

He may have been a selfish, cowardly bitchy type, but I didn't dislike him, he was true to himself and eccentrically entertaining. He came out with some quite astute observations at times.

What were Scott's astute observations?

Unfortunately many people who watch I'm a celebrity (an oxymoron if ever there was!!) will have seen Scott and then tar all gay men wit the same brush, it's the way the UK society works.

Yes, intelligent people will see him for the irritating self obsessed get he is, but a lot will just say it's because he is gay.

When white hetrosexual men misbehave on RTV shows no one ever says that they're giving a bad name to all white hetrosexual men.

on some threads on here people have said "well it's because she's old" when talking about jan's behaviour ....no it's not it's her not her age it's how she is as a person ...nothing to do with her age

He does, unfortunately, conform to a negative stereotype of gay people.

His actions will reconfirm the stereotype in some people's minds.

Its unfortunate and it shouldn't happen - and maybe it doesn't matter that much because people who still put any credence in the negative stereotype of gay people are probably beyond help.

I've got a different take on it.............

I think that 'in the mainstream' the camp, bitchy, diva queen is a very popular gay stereotype, TV is full of them..........Brian off BB, thingy in Gimme, Gimme, Julian Clary.........the list is endless. All well liked and popular.

I think Scott was trying to be popular by playing the witty camp bitch...........he just wasn't that good at it

Scott is a sad, sad excuse for person. Since leaving the camp- he is STILL bitching about Phina biting him. This leads me to think that he is trying to detract people from how poorly he performed in the camp and is instead fueling the hatred for Phina....

There are worst contestants than Scott this year. He's been getting too much criticism.

If it's irrelevant that he's gay, then surely he doesn't give gay people a bad name.
