I would'nt be surprised if David Gest has had a full scalp transplant from a donor and its' beginning to be rejected as it's looking weirder by the day.

I think dying his hair black makes his baldness seem a bit odd - if it were grey, as I imagine it naturally is, then it would look OK.

Clearly he's had multiple plug jobs. They harvest hair plugs from the areas unaffected by male pattern baldness and transplant them to the affected areas.

Unfortunately for David, the bald areas didn't provide enough blood for the plugs to survive very long and most of them died off, leaving the hair on top thin. After a few of these procedures, the areas from whence they harvested the plugs begin to get thin as well leaving him with what we see today.
