So why couldnt girls participate in that trial?

Seemed pretty straight forward to me, or is Jan being sexist?

If it was on instruction I think it was a blatent set up for the '3 Amigos' to do a challenge by the producers, knowing Dean would almost certainly not get picked for it.

because if we had had Mylene in the shower and three women doing the water slide you would be calling it sexist!

Only joking

Just said on ITV2 that nowhere did it say that Jan only had to pick men, she made that bit up herself!!

Well, she was the leader & if she wanted men to do it then thats her choice... Especially if she knew the name of the trial, it might have sounded quite physical to her...

Like I said it was her choice.

I thought it was her idea.

Jan was lying when she said it HAD to be men. She just likes to choose guys to do everything, she hasn't even noticed that it the girls that are doing the best in the trials and not the guys. That is what I find most annoying about Jan, she just doesn't like girls. I hope she hasn't got daughters for their sake.

Jan had one child, a boy named Jonathan.
I believe she had step-children.

Jan has just said (on ITV2) she should have had more children as she's so maternal. I won't tell you what David Gest said, but it was hilariously crude!!

I heard her son saying the other night that Jan doing a striptease in that yellow catsuit was just awful, so maybe he's got a few issues with his mother's maternal instincts!

Or her multiple marriages.

I agree. She'd be in her element if she was the last woman in there, IMO.

Not to mention the embarassing fact that her nips were so erect, Toby Wotsit could've hung his hat on one!

Would have thought that something like that should be mentioned on the main show.

Seems to be a fairly serious thing to make up - either an unpleasant piece of gamesmanship or an example of misogony, which is a pretty weird viewpoint for a woman to hold.

I would wonder if it was more Jan trying to stop Phina doing another trial - seeing as she was probably the only other person left who could have done it, other than Jan herself.

Myleene had done the trial the day before
Dean and Malandra had just returned from the pit
Jan seems to be excluding herself from these trials because she's already done six.

So that left it between David, Matt, Jason and Phina.

She might have been leader for that day, but deception was not a prerequisite.

Phina made the point that the group had always made decisions jointly, but Jan had taken it upon herself to decide who should eat what that night and it appears, who should do the trials.

I know Jan gave the two spuds to Malandra and David, but what was the other thing that she said she would save for later and Phina told her to cook it with the rice?
