Laptop to screen
I have a laptop with a standard screen port on the back.
My Panasonic Viera plasma has the other plug required built in on the rear, but when I connect one to the other and access the PC mode on screen I get nothing. Any ideas out there please? |

Obvious question but have you switched the Laptop to output through the female D-sub connector? On my Dell laptop you hold the Fn key down and press the F8 key to toggle between the the laptop's LCD screen, external display or both. In control panel/display/settings you can also set the screen resolution and colour quantity (bit) for Display 2.

If XP Try....
Right click on desktop > Graphic options > Output to > Monitor/Dual Display Clone. You can alter resolution/settings via desktop properties once image is on screen. |
