I don't think that it's like the X Factor. I believe the "other person" is entirely random.

Jan has been getting enough votes over the past few nights to get her into the top 3 - 4, whereas Phina has been consistently in the botton 3 - 4.

Jan's vote would have had to collapse spectacularly for her to have ended up second bottom, and I see no special reason why that should have occurred tonight.

How do you know that for sure? (I know there's someone here claiming to have figures, but that could be bollocks)

They wouldn't have told Malandra that it might be her twice in a row if she wasn't down there in the voting, as one would have expected.

Some people may have voted for Jan at first because of the novelty of it, which might be wearing a bit by now.

I didn't see it. Who were 'the bottom two' tonight?

I remember in one of the past series when A & D were asked that question they said that it IS the two with the least votes who were in the bottom two. That explains why Malandra was in the bottom twice in a row.

Jan hasn't really been doing anything lately so I guess her support is waning.

Phina and Jan - Phina left

It has been different on different nights. On some nights there was a showdown between the bottom 2 with the public left to vote again, on others like tonight it is not clear if it is the bottom 2. They did not say it was, but the assumption is that it is.

I think it's unfair not to do the showdown for all of them. The result might have been different.
