Malandra seems to be making a habit of 'letting people win things' - which would be well-meaning and charitable if it weren't for the fact that she insists on letting everyone else in on it. All that winking tonight. . . It just has the effect of belittling the person she claims to be helping. Still, Jan has had the last laugh on Phina and Faith, and I can only hope she will see off Malandra as well come the next eviction. Why oh why is Malandra still there?

I wouldn't call Jan endearing personally, but she has certainly kept a low profile. I suspect that she hasn't changed deep down but calmed down now she does not have to do the BBTs.
