Jan has drifted heavily in the betting!

I don't understand it!! betfair are quoting odds of 120-1 for Jan to win it! I watched the last 2 nights shows and despite being a bit dippy (arm wrestling etc, which was funny) she was a darling. Looking at the voting figures these odds are a bit weird and inconsistent. David is looking a bit disintrested in the whole thing now and has talked about walking...and you would not put it past him!! He even admitted not wanting to win - and i can believe him. Hes not bothered about it. Would we vote for a bloke who didn't care about winning in the end?

The boys only got 1 star (a performance matched only by scott, and look what happened to him). Im not saying this trial has anything to do with the popularity of individuals but has had a bearing on votes.

If the bookies have it right then David is the King already, so put your house on it - however, a smaller gamble on jan might be the value as this is gonna turn on its head in the next few days - See previous posts on voting figures and this rings true.

IF David were to walk - what price would Jan be?

At the end of the Day Scott's trial was based on nerve and he proved he had none, making him unlikable.

However the trial last night was based purely on luck. It was near on impossible to win 8 and they at least tried. I think they did well to even get 1, so I'm not sure that would affect public opinion as much as it did when it was Scott.

Plus since the trials have had to be decided between themselves, Jan hasn't put herself forward for any, it's nearly a week since she did her last one, and therefore she's not getting much time in the edit, her main rivals have gone, she's getting on with people, she's chilled out and is therefore slowly fading into the background.

Also Jans obsession with boys isn't doing her any favours with the woman who are predominant voters.I hope they make a big thing tonight on how there was nothing in the trail last night that stipulated only men could do it

I think that Jan became interesting because of the trials and conflicts with Phina - Jan has not done too much for the last week and now Phina has gone.

Her tactics of trying to flirt with the boys is getting a bit old as well! - she is trying to get sympathy within the group by doing domestic tasks - cooking, doing David's washing etc - however watching Jan washing David Guest's underpants does not make for exciting TV.

Well, Jan was in the bottom two last night so a lot of people have laid her off, though she isn't favourite to go tonight - Dean and Malandra are but the amount of money traded is quite small at the moment.

watching "this morning" jan's sisterdid a lot to improve her image, and said those often heard words on celebrity "she has come a long way". Christine Hamitlton was very diplomatic , but did try to put a different slant on the arguments over cooking. Still methinks the producers would love her to win.

I don't think the producers care who wins. Why should they?
They are after two things - viewing figures and voter's money.

For Jan to be considered a possible winner is a bit of a turnaround!

I don't know how David would remain so popular considering he seems completely uninterested and unwilling to do anything in the camp.

I thnk there was a fair bit of money put on Jan at the start because she was regarded as a strong outsider, even though she was unpopular there was a chance that she could turn it around. However, now we're nearing the end of the show Jan still isn't picking up in the polls and there probably isn't enough time to change it so the money is going on the big three, David, Jason, and Myleene.

Because popularity with the viewers has nothing to do with who does what chores, even though that kind of thing might matter to the other contestants. David remains popular with the viewers because he is by far the most entertaining contestant and, after all, entertainment is the reason we tune in, surely.

Anyone else noticed Myleene's odds shorten in the past 24 hours?

Last night they were at 9-1 and now she is at 4-1!
