Why is MarlililGrey banned?

Mods, if it is at the request of ITV, then be honest and say so.

PS There is a technique that can be used to see if figures like these are being made up. The results posted did not fit that pattern, so on balance I think they were real.

I dotn see the harm in it, because if you see your favourite in the bottom then your more inclined to vote for them more... That just seems logical too me

OK fair enough. Maybe I should change the title of the thread to "Why the figures posted are probably genuine.(unless the poster knew all about Benford's law...)"

The figures were so massively out of line with polls particularly the This Morning Poll that I think they must have been fake

Yes, because it's unfair on them as they can't respond... Because they were banned.

(One of the stupidest rules of this forum it has to be said)

I think that's probably why they were actually real because, if he/she was making them up surely he would put the figures in order of betting and polls to not make a fool of himself?

Anyway, it was good while it lasted

I have a theory :

He did suggest people PM him to get further call results that might be classed by some as commercially confidential. Maybe ITV complained and threatened the site with publishing such info? Who knows!

(I'm not judging anybody here btw - just wondered if this was a possible reason?)

I think it was fake cause Jan was getting lots of votes accoring to him and then shes in the bottom 2 last night?

Sorry, but when are they ever told that they are in the bottom 2 of votes. This is one of the shows which does not show the actual bottom 2, but states that it 'may be you'.
Therefore it may not be you either.

Thats exactly what I think...the only time they said the bottom 2 was the first 2 eliminations, where u had to vote again...

well i think the media are entitled to publish commercially confidential info - if they can hold of it.

i am not aware that voting figures for a tv show come under the official secrets act

its whats called a good old inside scoop... you'd think DS would be grateful for getting it... and gratis too...

thanks anyway marlililgrey...
