I'm disgusted with the fact he took an instant dislike to Phina and never gave her any credit even though she deserved it

First, he went on and on about how she was eating more than her fair share of food even without and evidence. On his morning show, his co-host, Fern, pointed out to him that she may have been starving on that day of her "hay" trial with Jan and that's the reason she asked for more food that night. He dismissed this reason saying they most have been fed while they were out of the camp. Peter Andre and his wife then confirmed Fern's reason by saying they don't get any food when they're away from camp looking for the chest. He then went quiet and swiftly moved on. That same day, on his evening show, he carried on criticising Phina for eating too much while others were starving and COMPLETELY ignored what Peter, Jordan and Fern had said on his morning show

Today again, he was criticising Phina for starting an argument with Jan over the potatoes while failing to acknowledge that Jan was out of order for giving away the potatoes without consulting the group . Christine Hamilton was on the show and she defended Phina even when Jan's sister was sat beside her. Surprise, surprise, Phil swiftly changed the topic

Thank you, I've just said exactly the same in another post and was wondering if anyone-else had seen it.

Nah

It's ok to not to like someone but at least don't make up stories to back up your reasons for disliking said person/people

In all fairness geraniums, I thought it was Phillip Schofield that was taking it far too seriously. It's that sort of attitude from those in the media that gave the Guestmeister such a bad name.

It's the first time I've managed to catch This Morning and to be honest I wouldn't rush to watch it again. They complained about Phina's bitchiness, but couldn't see that their responses were as bad.

If Gordon the Gopher ends up boiled in a saucepan this thread will be studied very closely by those poor Phil gets to investigate the case.

All hail Mr Scofield. I for one have enough morals not to support an animal abuser.

I'm shocked that no one on here (except for a few that I've seen) seems phased by the dog story. What are we coming to as human beings?

I take it you liked her before last night's "revelations"

I supported her over the whole Scott thing. I didn't actually like her as a person though.

That's fine. What's which the animal abuser label though? Because she was honest enough to admit to something nasty she did which she tried to correct while sober?

Well, that's fine then. She corrected it when sober. How stupid of me

There's not much hope for this world if people can do stuff like this and then people like you think it's ok because they 'say sorry' and try to put it right.

What would you say if someone tied a firework to your cat when they were drunk but knocked the next day with a new one and an apology to put 'things right'. Forgive them?? GIVE ME STRENGTH!!!

I don't defend cruelty of ANY kind be it to animals or to humans. She did wrong. She knows she did wrong and was honest enough to admit it.

I'm sure you've never hurt a human in your life

No amount of spin you put on it would make you look better than me or her!

I would accept your analogy if the act was done in spite, but this was the action of a lonely woman who "thought it was a good idea at the time". I don't like that she did it but, I also don't like the thought of someone being that lonely.

Apparently, she was lonely one night in LA and decided to get drunk. She then got her only companion, a dog, drunk but took him to the vet the next day to get his stomach pumped.

They each had to tell three stories about themselves - two being true, the other false. One of Phina's stories was that, whilst in LA, she got herself - and her pet dog - drunk because she had nobody else to drink with. Once sober she had to take him to the vets and get his stomach pumped!

Reminds me of an old Irish ditty, only about a pig...

It was early last September
As near as I can remember
While strolling down a lane in tipsy pride
Not a word did I utter
As I lay down in the gutter
And this pig came up and lay there by my side
Not a soul was I disturbing
As I lay there by the curbing
When this high toned lady come
And I heard her say
You can tell a man who boozes
By the company he chooses
And the pig got up and slowly walked away

Well, with her attitude I imagine she is very difficult to get on with.

People were having a pop at Jan Leeming because of her not being able to let go and join in when she first went into the camp. Phina, on the other hand spent her time see-sawing her emotions from being on the defensive to over compensating to being down right vindictive and spiteful.

Seriously, its a pathetic excuse. Its not even considerable. Nobody gets their pets drunk because they are lonely. What happened after the dog was drunk. She wasn't lonely anymore. And exactly what brain cell was she using that it seemed a good idea at the time. I didn't like her anyway, I like her even less now, I'm glad she's gone, lets hope she leaves future animals alone. Or better still, attempts to make a friend.
