NO! you are trying to CONTINUE your hatred of PHina by finding another stick to beat her with. She has left, the dog incident was ill-judged but she told the story anyway and you ARE trying to get other forum members to stir up a bigger hate campaign against her....and i am saying this as someone who thinks that Phina as issues too.....so yes....!!!”

Really, I'm not. I just cannot believe that people are defending this. I don't care about any other aspect of her personality. I really don't. I don't care where she goes from here.

I do feel as though I'm banging my head against a brick wall now though. If you and others think feeding a dog a bowl of vodka (or whatever it was) is right, all because some reality contestant can do no wrong, then I guess that is what some people have come to. I can't change things. I give up. God, I'm depressed.

Errm, you?? You seemed to have an obsession with making people feel better?

Like I said, it's over. You will get no more rise from me.

I bid you good evening and leave you the last word.

Please, I beg you, show me one post where I've defended her action

Honestly, no matter how you spin this story you will NEVER make yourself look better than me or anyone else . Quite the opposite

And yes- go on, run off

There are far worse things to get depressed about! And you had the last word! Or you did.

....It was a deplorable act..i don't think that anyone condones that sort of behaviour...BUT whilst you are sparing thoughts for the dog...i also imagine that she must have been in a really, really low dark place to even dream of doing such a cruel thing--but she was drinking...how many of us are with all our senses after downing vodka...but like i said before....what can we do? Nothing, she is out now...you won't have to be sickened by her face again

oh puh-lease tell me this post is a joke. you feel sorry for someone that lonely that they'd feed alcohol to their dog, then have it stomach pumped the next day?

it was a good idea at the time? ye-ah! if you're either incredibly thick or incredibly cruel, or both.

If you read through the many posts regarding this debate you will see that most of us "debated" the point without resorting to personal insults. May I suggest that when entering into a forum discussion that you at the very least remember to bring your manners with you?

He dismissed this reason saying they most have been fed while they were out of the camp. Peter Andre and his wife then confirmed Fern's reason by saying they don't get any food when they're away from camp looking for the chest. He then went quiet and swiftly moved on. That same day, on his evening show, he carried on criticising Phina for eating too much while others were starving and COMPLETELY ignored what Peter, Jordan and Fern had said on his morning show

Today again, he was criticising Phina for starting an argument with Jan over the potatoes while failing to acknowledge that Jan was out of order for giving away the potatoes without consulting the group . Christine Hamilton was on the show and she defended Phina even when Jan's sister was sat beside her. Surprise, surprise, Phil swiftly changed the topic ”

Have you, by any chance, got a fellow bible-believing-christian thing going on with your support for this bed-hogging animal-abuser?

You're all watching a programme that treats animals as a means to torture contestants, I don;t think your horses are quite as high as you may think they are

I wonder what some would make of this

Maybe it may seem that way with the strong use of 'angry' smilies in the OP.

But I think the OP's points in the post are pretty valid though.

Oh I don't know, we excuse mutilation on the grounds of culture, murder on the grounds of "diminished reponsiblity", so why not animal abuse on the grounds of lonliness. People do strange, out of character things when lonely, even kill themselves.

Why bring her professed religeon/faith into it? Why stop there, why not her gender and colour too? Or are you only ilogical and bigotted in the one respect?

I'm glad someone else made this point!

What my religion has to do with my support for any of the contestants is beyond me

I'm sure that she wouldn't have meant harm to her dog, and would have been horrified at the consequences.
It was just an incredibly stupid thing to do which I think would have been distressing for her at the time and would have regretted.

Couldn't have been Stella. The dog would have beat her up the moment it got home.

where are the insults? i expressed nothing but an enquiry about whether the post was serious or a joke.

the insult in my post was directed at the dog-abusing celebrity, or am i only allowed to say positive things about them now?

Well after all that, it's been revealed on the "Phil and Fern" show that the dog story was a lie! Apparently, she wanted to one up David. I actually agree with Phil and Fern when they say that it's her own silly fault and she should have come clean at the time.

The amateur presenter reporting from Australia on "This Morning" just said Phina told him she made the "drunk dog" story up to get one over on the "Tall Tales" king, David! I don't think it would make any difference to those who already loathe her (Mr Scofield didn't care ) as this would even make her out to be a liar as well everything else . It's ok though for David to tell porkies as he doesn't purport to being a Bible-reading Christian
