She spelt it "embarassed". Jason said it was "embarrassed". Like Jan, I have been spelling it wrong all these years. And I'm a good speller!

Oh, right, thanks. The one I keep getting wrong is opinion. I keep spelling it with 2 ps - "oppinion", but I think I've got it right now ever since I discovered that the root word is "opine", as in " 'that dress really suity you', she opined"

I thought Myleene had got 'Technicolour' right but she was told it was incorrect as there is no 'u' . I thought that was the american spelling of it.

I knew she'd got that one wrong and i had a feeling she was going to spell it with a 'u'. The funniest one was Malandra spelling 'bungee' with a 'y' instead of 'ee'

It's spelt without a 'u' in the title of the Lloyd-Webber/Rice stage show. As Jason said, that way of spelling might be a trade name
