Guys,
I have a problem with a Sony idtv. Whenever it switched to one of the AV i/ps there is an annoying "AV" osd in the top left corner of the screen. I've tried turning the osd off but this has not got rid of it. Does anyone know how to stop this?

It means the status of the TV is switched on. One of the buttons on your remote will remove this, on mine I think it's the one marked with a green question mark, just play around you'll soon find the right one. When your Sky remote (if you have one) is switched to TV and you press the info button this will do the same thing, that's how it usually gets there in the first place.

On Sony TV's the button required is quite often marked with a small square with the letter i or a + symbol inside. Once you find the right button, you will need to press it more than once (sometimes three or four consequtive presses are needed) and the display should clear.
