Dean`s excessive camera time after voting lines re-opened last night

Anyone else notice that after the voting lines opened for Malandra and Dean last night that Dean was rarely off our screens? Malandra didn`t even get a mention.

It struck me as very unbalanced and unfair. After all, Malandra had just done well with Myleene on their BTR - yet here we were having Dean on our screens for a lengthy period of time when the lines re-opened and no Malandra in sight.

Yes, and the last time they re-opened the voting, when Toby went, Dean was in the bottom two

Very obviously they want Dean to stay in - it was blatant.

It has to be that they want him to do another trial. Which is a shame because, when he did THAT trial it was hilarious and fresh. I feel if he does another one and starts squealing again, people will start questioning how genuine the first one really was.

I think you're right, Laura.

That was what really struck me. They made absolutely no effort to hide the favouritism. I`m heartily sick of this manipulation of viewers.

I really think this has been the worst IACGMOH ever.

What a shame It makes me wonder if they kept him in specifically to go into the pit as well. It would account for why there was a "vote off" between him and Toby.

What also gets my back up is the inconsistancy. Some days they have the extra 15 mins, somedays they don't. Its almost like if they don't like who came last, they re open the lines and show much more coverage of the person they want to stay in.

This year has been an absolute shambles imo.

maybe they were focusing on him cos they were trying to gauge his mood as he was the other possible to go last night?

I`ve no problem with that - but surely they should have given equal time to Malandra to try and gauge her mood as well?

I`m not a fan of either one of them btw - it`s just that the unfairness struck me quite forcibly last night.

Yes I agree, it was blatently obvious what was going on, they must take us for complete mugs! Although I do vote in the main vote, theres no way their
getting me to pay to vote in another so obviously manipulated.

Have they done this? I missed a show so hadn`t noticed. Well, if that`s the case..........this show just gets worse.

I agree. It's well documented on here that I disliked Malandra but, even I thought why aren't they showing her?

*Mind you it was only so I could hiss and boo at her*

But would that really influence your vote?

And i tell you what, its clear that Jan is being painted in the perfect light over the last few days too. Ive always thought she was tops anyways but ITV has waited this week to paint her in a much better light. She looks better too and is smiling a lot and seems to be enjoying it. She deffo works the hardest in the camp too.

They've also painted;

David as a bit of a gossip and lazy (I dont do dishes!!).

Jason - a fruit cake.

Myleene - a male fantasy (not being too critical here)

Ive said all along that Jan would win or come close to the final and i think ITV would like that.

Paddypower have Jan as the least favourite of this bunch to win? That can't be right - surely!

If, as the bookies predict - David will win and Jason come second, that would mean that NO english in the TOP two!

No Foreigner has ever finished in the Top 2 of previous shows!!

I think Dean will go tonight!!

Jan - still a staggering 75-1 on befair - , Really!!!!

Yes, they did it when Toby Anstis and Dean were bottom two.

Oh well.............that could explain why Toby was booted out then. What a farce.

Most of the programme that came after the lines re-opened was pre-edited highlights of the day before. It wasn't an edit made after Dean and Malandra had come bottom: theoretically any two could have been in the bottom and we would have seen the same highlights of Dean. So maybe it was just coincidence - or maybe, indeed, they did plan in advance to bolster Dean if he came in the bottom two which the producers must have had some ability to predict.

I thought Malandra gave a spot-on interview BTW, in her assessment of who might win and what made this series different from the others.

In all honesty no it wouldn't it wouldn't have changed my feelings towards her. However, even though I disliked her it did smack of unfairness. Surely, there was something she done that day they could have used to balance it up a bit?

Yes it is a bit unfair that other evictee's didn't get the chance for their supporters to add some more votes to try to save their favourites or negatively vote to get rid of ones they didn't like who were in the bottom 2.

Seems strange that the extra 15 mins has been when Dean was in the bottom 2......but maybe it's just coincidence. We are all a bit quick to see conspiracys on these shows. I sometimes wonder if it isn't us who are under the microscope and not the celebs. Our reactions seem to be far more extreme (and funnier and more entertaining) than the ones taking part in these shows.

I tend to agree with this and it's part of the reason why I stopped watching BB. It's almost as if the producers are saying let's see if we can get them to vote for X over Y even though we know Y is a right so and so! I wouldn't mind so much but, they're becoming less subtle and yet people are still falling for it.

well if you're influenced to vote by about four minutes of footage then you're really too susceptible for your own good.

you might also argue that they put that footage up to get people to VOTE HIM OUT. seeing as how his husky falsetto cockney garbage is so limited and humourless.

his message about missing his "loved ones" was all about his kids, nothing about his girlfriend at all. he misses his kids saying " wake up daddy, we're off to school " says it all. the bloke can't even get up in the morning and his kids have to wake him up just as they're out of the door. dear oh dear.

I agree. This year BB was manipulative in the extreme - even for BB! The live streaming (as usual) showed an entirely different scenario and personalities than we were shown on the edited highlights. I didn`t vote in BB this year and I certainly won`t be voting on IACGMOH. They are just taking the p*ss.

Spot on post. We thought that in our house too. I cant get a handle on Dean, he just seems shallow to me. Everybody is too lovey dovey in there now. Drop in J Street -Porter
and Paul ( The Rock ) Burrell for a laugh and to get things
going again !!
