Can anyone tell me when this phone is likely to retail?

I've read many a press release stating September for the UK - like the one below - but it's now December!

This sounds very interesting, thanks for the link . I am tempted to upgrade my N80. Anyone else done this?

ok so i did it lol

upgraded to the Internet Edition but i have a problem, i cant send MMS :s

I read into this and it seems 3 have certificates as such attached to things in their firmware and looks like i wont ever be able to send an MMS.

Normal text, calls and video calling are all fine just MMS.

Think im gonna be stuck like this till i downgrade the firmware which you can but is a pretty complicated process and likely to brick your phone if you get it wrong lol

Maybe a silly question have you asked 3 to send you the mms settings? have a fiddle with the default profiles. regards Lee

You can get them sent to your phone from the Nokia website, just asks for your number and network and you get messages with the settings in.

Any updates on whether this phone might be officially available, anywhere?

Annoyingly looks like I'll have to wait for o2 Upgrades but they can't give me a date.

Don't really want to do any flashing unless I have to

I did, works Great, Just change product code using a program called NSS and then use the official NSU (nokia software updater) to update software and it will update to an IE version (presuming you changed product code to match an IE version). I must admit when I bought the phone i knew id have to flash it for its VOIP/SIP function and when doing it, it did worry me as i didnt have the cash to replace the phone if it didnt work, and to my suprise after 10-15mins on the NSU it worked!
good luck on finding an IE version, probably wiser, instead of sweating like me :P
