Sorry, wrong forum, please disregard -- I've gone to the TIVO community forum for help with this.

Hi, my Tivo won't turn on.

After disconnecting and reconnecting power I get:
An amber light for half a second
A green light and then the "Almost done, please wait a few seconds" message for about one minute.
Screen flashes and then I get the "Press Tivo or live TV" message for half a sec and then the thing dies again until the power is recycled.

Hard drive seems to be turning.

Anyone have any ideas?

It'll problably be the hard drive that's shot!

I have just had the same scenario. Check out www tivoheaven dot com for more information or give them a call they were very helpful to me. My Tivo is like new again! Good Luck!
