Human's Lib is the album that started me on the path of keyboard playing - such happy days....

I've recently got back into Howard's music and can thoroughly recommend his new album "Revolution of the Heart".

A string of great singles between 83 and 86 like Pearl in the shell, No one is to blame and things can only get better.

saw him a few years ago on the Here and Now tour. His once-blonde hair is now totally white but the voice was in fine working order.

Boy HJ takes me back to my youth. I quite liked some of his music. I think I even bought his first album, can't remember for sure though, too long ago
But I have a couple of tracks of his on my mp3 player.

Just had to do a search to see if there's an existing Howard Jones thread and turned up this one, which is nearly ten years old. Oh well, it'll do.

The reason is, I recalled from my 80s teens that Howard had about three or four hit songs that were mediocre/okay, and one which was really great. I couldn't recall the name of the latter song, but with the aid of YouTube, I tracked it down and identified it today as Hide & Seek

For those of you who don't know or remember it, this is it. I just find it really beautiful and haunting and by a mile the best song he did that I'm aware of:

Howard Jones-Hide & Seek

He was a big animal rights supporter also, that I recall-so kudos to him for that, as well.
