Lets have honesty here.

Emma has danced well, but there is no spark , no pleasure , no joy and it was finished for me by gross overmarking . The waltz was a 9 not 10 and the paso 7/8

I agree about louisa , but just as Mark is not responsible for his pro's choreography nor is Louisa , though Mark did try to claim all blame .”

Mark is the one coming out and loving the dance, and performing for the joy of it.

From week one M and K have almost consistently blown me away almost singly among all the couples. They have a magic quality and chemistry that's hard to define, but boy do you recognise it when you see it.

He has done 3 excellent ballroom dances (the VW rated a 10 which yet again he didn't get).

Mark and Karen all the way.

Disgusted that their paso, salsa, VW and samba did not get at least a 10 each, which I believe it is fully deserving of.

As always Louisa and Vincent get my vote - but please Vincent take care with the choreography - mostly its brilliant but does seem to get most criticism from the judges. (who only seem to have eyes for Emma and Darren)

Just can't see why they get so excited about them - they don't do anything for me. Just can't understand how they got a 10 for their Paso when L & V's was so much better!

This week I am having to go with calling it on the night, although I am looking forward to Mark and Karen as I can see their two dances suiting them wonderfully.

I like Mark....but is anyone else starting to find Karen's 'I'm going to win and Mark is along for the ride' attitude a bit annoying?

In a way, I agree.

I started off liking Karen a lot more than Mark (I found his personality bland and dull whereas she was always so bubbly and fun). Now however, I am warming to Mark a lot more, to the point where I enjoy hearing from him more than her in interviews.

Um, I think that comment she said was half-joking, and she never said I'm going to win she said in a previous ITT clip the only reason they wouldn't make the final would be if she messed up.

I understand what you mean, but it is seeming to me a bit that a few clips I have seen recently she says it in what seems a jokey way, but that there is an element of truth in it, else why would she keep saying it?

Maybe its me reading too much into things, I don't know, was just interested to see if anyone else had picked up on it or it was just me!

I think all the pros are extremely competitive and aiming for the final and to win. I think as all four are relatively equal they all belief they can win this year.

Karen is naturally a confident outgoing person and doesn't mind saying she's determined to try and get Mark to the final. But I bet you will find Darren, Lilia and Vincent are equally determined.

At least I get a strong sense from Karen she's having alot of fun on the way. Unlike say Darren at the moment.

Yes, but Darren is having less fun because he knows they have so little public support. Karen has never been in the bottom 2, Darren has been there twice - of course she's having more fun! Karen always seems to be mentioning how much public support she and Mark have, I'm sure she's aware of how popular they are.

No, you're quite right she has expressed a desire to win, I'm sure the other pros have as well in some way I maybe haven't seen it in ITT enough times for it to stick in my head . You have point to raise I just think she's very honest in that respect I'm sure she is of the same philosophy as Mark, in that you have take eack week as it comes. But her excitement is very obvious, as I'm sure it is in the other couples who have come this far.

Err, she hasn't actually said that. In early training she said 'I can smell that final' when he executed some move or other, and that she's 'gunning for the final' and Mark's hanging on to her coat tails. She wants to make the final, and of course she wants to win, they all do, but to the best of my knowledge has never, publicly at least, said 'I'm going to win'.

No onslaught here BTW

Vincent is equally as competitive about getting to the final, indeed there was a promise of him leaving the country should this not happen!

A motivation there for me to keep calling for Mark!

Ok, thanks for the lack of onslaught

For the record, I didn't say that she actually SAID that, but that this was the impression of her attitude I got from her from a few things she said - My opinion only I promise

For my part, I do hope they make the final as I think Mark is great, along with L&V

Same here Stacey A M&K and L&V final two would be my preference too. And that would be really tricky to call who would win.

Likewise, Little Lou and Vin 'the wee man' also deserve a place.

not an onslaught honest... just my view:

When you think about it Karen hasn't actually mentioned winning that much. It's just a couple of her comments have been repeated quite a few times: sneaky editing from the beeb!

And I don't think there is anything wrong with being competitive... or being honest about wanting to win (in fact I respect people like Karen and Louisa who have the balls to be upfront about it). Just as long as the funness isn't lost, and I think it's fair to say that Mark and Karen have a very good relationship (if not one of the best out of all the couples.

Any way I agree that M&K and V&L final would probably be my prefered option... but at this stage I think all of them are good enough.
