TV UHF VOLUME
VOLUME SATELLITE
iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii OK iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii

Connections

Dvd >>>>>>> TV AV1 IN. Satellite(VCR)>>>>>> VCR AV2 (DECODER) Satellite(TV)>>>>>>>TV AV2.

Can anyone explain the variation in the above volume settings.

If I use the TV the above volume setting is fine. When I use a satellite channel I have to have the volume setting at maximum.

on the tv and the satellite. My real problem is when if I am watching a satellite channel and I switch to TV and forget to turn

the TV volume down the house shakes and my dogs go bananas. Can anyone help.

Different sources output audio at different levels

You don't mention SKY but you can increase a digiboxes audio from within the menu so require less external amplification, I would imagine standard dsat boxes would have that function as well.
Channels that have DD5.1 audio are broadcast at a lower volume when compared to non DD channels on the SKY platform as well.
