BT Broadband Talk Woes
My latest email to them. To say I am not impressed is an understatement. Do any of you have any suggestions?
For me Broadband talk is a disaster. The hub-phone worked for for the first 2 or 3 days. Then no dial tone, and the menus froze up. I finally received a replacement hub phone on Staurday that just refuses to register to the hub. I unplugged all other phones in the house and took the batteries out of all other handsets so there could be no interferance. Still the new hubphone cannot find the hub. BT also sent me a hub-compatible DECT phone to use with the hub in case of more hub-phone problems. When the DECT phone is connected to the hub using the green connector - silence. Again no dial tone. How can we ge this problem resolved once and for all??? I am paying £4.95 a month to make broadband talk calls free anytime and I just can't do it! |

I have a suggestion - dump it and get a cheaper, better service elsewhere. The only thing is you may need to buy some of the hardware yourself, which I have done and never looked back. Since buying my own hardware well over two years ago I've made a bundle of savings against the ones who charge a fee but give you 'free' equipment.
