ASDA - McDonalds, well WalMart has McDonalds in its stores so why not ASDA? |

I remember during last year visiting the Tesco Extra store in Hull, and going to the cafe on the upper floor and having an English breakfast style meal. You could choose up to about 5 items to have for just under £3. It was OK, except the sausages tasted a little bit rubbery.

One of the Tesco's in my city has a Costa instead of a cafe and to be honest I don't think it's a totally justified substitute. At a normal cafe you can get breakfast and lunch at Costa however the best you can get it a toastie.

The cafe in our local Tesco still allows smoking- so I won't go near it.

Our nearest Tesco has gone over to the Costa franchise. The only thing better is that they have to provide a pot of tea for £1. As that's all I ever get there any way I'm not effected but a colleague that used to eat there says the choice and quality of the food has gone down the poop shute.
The staff are very pleasant though. |

They have done the same to ours recently. I used to get scrambled egg and toast with a coffee for a decent price as they would let you pay per item. Even a full English and drink was only £4.25.
Now it is £4.50 for a set breakfast with no replacements or a drink, and the quality is worse than before. |
