Itv is getting a bit of a joke, from the 13th of december and the 14th there is no the bill again

All just because of a boring show (Extinct)

Why are they doing this to the bill fans?

It's only on the 13th and 14th. From then on it will be two episodes a week as usual.

It's mostly because the programme's viewing figures have been rather average recently.

I think he meant that the absences are only on 13th and 14th!

The episode guides after the 13th and 14th haven't moved from their slot on the ITV Press Centre.

You'd think that ITV would treat the show with a bit more respect, considering W. Mountbatten-Windsor of Sandhurst and Mr A. Blair & Family of Westminster/Sedgefield are fans.

I think William and Harry were said to be fans as well.

You are right that it is not on on the 13th and 14th December .

What SierraOne is saying is that the following week it is back to normal , it is listed on ITV press site and is also in various other publications including the Radio Times that it returns to its twice weekly slot on Wednesday 20th and Thursdaty 21st at 8pm .

ITV also have it listed for transmission the following week wed 27th and Thurs 28th and the following week Wed 3rd Jan and Thurs 4th Jan , so it is only next week its off , annoying yes but not the end of the world.

The Bill usually gets a few episodes cut aound this time of year anyway. It's pretty regular throughout the rest of the year.

Sorry, have you been paying attention?! It's been moved for everything under the sun- non-Celebrity programmes, football, just because ITV feel like it. Not the way to treat a popular show.

i kind of see what you mean when programmes such as corrie fall behing on an episode they always have a double showing sometime that week but when it happens in TB we usually have a 3 episodes the next week it is annoying and i don't think itv will change there plans just because william and harry are rumored to be fans
as skp20040 its not the end of the world

It's annoying when they've dropped at least 13 episodes this year. Can you imagine ITV doing this to Coronation Street and Emmerdale? I can't. I think it's very unfair.

If they were to keep delaying transmission into the new year then I wouldn't be too pleased. A lot is happening in The Bill story-wise in early 2007.
