i agree, it's a bit dull. I don't like the way they introduce new characters lately, before they used to bring them in then weeks later reveal a big storyline (Kat/Zoe Slater). Now they give them a week to introduce themeselves even though we couldn't careless who or what they are about and then wait months later to think of a new storyline

When Bert was talking to Evie it was so clunky how the new characters are being lined up. Well, the daughter - we found out - has died but the grandson is soon bound to appear.
What do you think the terrible thing she did was? Do you think she told the daughter that Bert had died?

Spoiler
It's that she brought her and Bert's daughter up to believe her 2nd husband was her father- not Bert

I think maybe she helped her daughter die because she was in so much pain !

I think this weeks episodes have been brilliant. I really like how its all coming together and the interaction between some of the characters. And I love Yolande, especially when she looks like she's going to throttle someone!!

I thought it was going to be really dull but I must admit I'm enjoying it at the moment, I like the Wicks and Fox's and I like Bert's storyline even tho I really didn't like him.

I miss Pauline!!! They should have had an extra week with the Fowlers before her exit rather than a week away with characters which I think haven't been truely established.

Well the coastal location is definitely Kimmeridge - note the Clavel tower in the background of the final scene!

Yes she should be in it, so should Ian, Jane and the kids. I'm sorry but if you end an episode with 'go to hell', you have to have something to follow it!

This week's great, I hate it when we always see Stacey and Bradley and have them shoved down our throats. This week has been fantastic so far and will continue to be.

absolutely ridiculous this week ...

1) who is running the shop and post office - where is cover found that quickly

2) who is running the carlot?

3) whats the point in winning £1k when you have lost more than that in potential earnings when they have all taken the week off / shut their businesses down?

4) how come squiggle was allowed time off school before the Xmas holidays?

5) to be honest who actually cares about these characters and would we not rather be seeing the fall out on the square of Pauline/ Ian/ Jane/ kids/ Martin/ Peggy/ Phil particularly with Paulines immiment departure?

nana

ps where the hell are Honey, Billy and Petal they appear to have disappeared off the square completely!!
