I have just purchased a Panasonic Freeview HDD/DVD recorder (EX 85).

When I connect it to my 1.5 year old Goodmans (analogue) TV set (via a Scart lead to AV1), I select AV1 on the TV and can move through the digital channels one at a time (using the Panasonic remote's CH+/CH- button) and see them. However, when I pick a program from the Panasonic's TV Guide (TVG) the TV reverts to showing the last watched analogue channel it showed and I have to select AV1 on the TV again to get the selected digital channel to appear.

Any ideas appreciated...

It's resolved!

I found that cycling through the AV choices (AV1, AV2...RBG) and selecting RBG lets me view what's selected from the EPG.
