Please Recommend A Good 19" LCD
I haven't got a clue about LCD TV's, but I want to buy one for my daughter's bedroom, but I don't know where to start.
I want one that will look good enough to play the PS2/Wii on. I'm not too fussed whether it's HD ready. Looking to spend from £200 - £350. Any suggestions please!!

The Samsung widescreen is a good one. Was available at Argos but a relative of mine is having trouble finding one at the moment. I'll see if I can find a link for you.

Thanks Nellie, I've been looking at the Samsung, it looks very nice, but the audio is supposed to be bad and the picture quality apparently is not that great either.

Is this the Samsugn you meant at first?
If so, I have it, and can recommend it. Is it the best TV ever known to man? No, but at that size and that price (£250 in Argos, Currys and Comet at the mo I think) it's pretty darn good. Plenty of connections (Scart, Component, DVI (HDCP), Composite, S-Video, RF and maybe VGA or perhaps it comes with a VGA-DVI cable?) and the picture is really good. Not amazing on RF, but absolutely fine on everything else. By the way, I think the only reason it doesn't get claseed as HD Ready is that the screen is 16:10 rather than 16:9. |

I purchased the SyncMaster 940MW a couple of weeks ago and can highly recommend it. I bought it to replace both my pc monitor and tv in the spare bedroom and its work both devices very well.
The only thing is i paid £300 for it from Comet and i see its now £250 on amazon. Oh well still very pleased with it.
