Is anybody here a listener to some of the new classical-style composers?

Some of them just need a lucky break. I don't think Karl Jenkins would be so well known if it hadn't been for Delta Airlines and C&G using some of his music in adverts.

The problem is so many seem to make one or two works then disappear from the recording scene. I picked up a copy of "Flamma Flamma, the Fire Requiem" by the Belgian composer Nicolas Lens and I've been unable to find anything else by him anywhere.

I quite enjoy some of the trance classic stuff on the digital classic music channel. The 2 styles fit together very well, probably because of the strict 4 beats to the bar rythms.

most well known classic music songs sit very well with trance.
maybe we've come full circle?
