Jonathan Ross would be good but I think (as he's very tall) that he would be paired off with Camilla and she needs someone who can really dance soon.

Jonathan Ross would be very funny to watch!

And I know he did 'Dancing on Ice' last year but John Barrowman would certainly look good doing the Samba methinks!!!

Said this on another thread, but stealing other peoples ideas of the 3 Top Gear presenters I'd pair them as follows;

Richard and Lilia - height ovbviously, plus mega giggling and silliness

Jeremey and Erin - Miss Whiplash meet Mr Loud Opinion

James and Ola - come on, his face as she wiggles her bum suggestively in front of him al la Spoony's Cha Cha Cha

I don't think a lot of those choices would work...sadly, as I would love to see them all have a go.

Comedians only work if they are light work. Jonathan Ross and Jimmy Tarbuck are very light comedians. People like Jan Ravens are usually very intelligent, head controlled people and don't like being thought of as "not very good". Stephen Fry, Catherine Tate, Dawn French and Eddie Izzard are very intelligent, quiet people in real life. Like Jan Ravens. They put on a big personne for the stage and TV but they don't want to have to act like that 24/7 for the camaras when they learn to dance. It just doesn't work, in my opinion. As a sketch joke she's written herself she might find it funny but I think Dawn French will draw a line how the judges can talk about her and it won't come off well.

John Barrowman.....oooh, I can see myself voting for him. *dreams* I can see Craig, Arlene and Bruno voting for him as well!

I like those pairings although think Erin and Jeremy would literally kill each other!

Only problem which I would I vote for?! I'm currently thinking James as I'm loving him constantly drunk on the wine programme

Will Young - he is tall too and a good dancer. Don't know who I would put him with (I don't want any cheap jibes, thank you!)

I doubt he would do it though - too busy.

There seems to have to be an obligatory cricketer every series so how about the infamous Shane Warne!

He lives in England, I'm sure he would make good tv......

I'm loving that idea. Those 2 alongside Tennant and Barrowman - I think i may just die of excitement if that were to happen!!!!!

I'd be inclined to put James with Karen just because I think they'd be highly amusing together. Jeremy and Erin is an entertainment match made in heaven - if anyone could get him dancing...

I loved those three to do the show (James has been asked before and turned it down damnit!) but I would spend a fortune voting each week!

OMG! You must be reading my mind! I have thought for ages that Jeremy Sheffield would be a fab contestant and have discussed at length with my sister the merits of having him on. ie his very fit and would be drooling seeing him in a tight latin outfit. I have only just got on this forum so it's great to see someone has the same idea as me! I know he was a professional ballet dancer before but we could still have him. Ballet is not too much like Ballroom and Latin is it? I know, I know i'm making excuses but I think he would be amazing...
