I think the whole evie-bert thing is rather far fetched don't you. Telling him that she has always loved him. A long lost grandson, a bit predictable really. Instead of bringing all these new characters in, why not make the ones they already have a bit more interesting. bert has been shown as a lazy sponger evr since he appeared, now he is saint bert. I just think it's a bit much to swallow

Obviously Kevin has always gone for 'feisty' and tough women. I'm quite looking forward to Shirley vs. Denise, let it kick off!

Why would it be Denise against Shirley.

Looks as though Bert is undergoing one of those miraculous changes of character so beloved of soap writers. The sort that changed Pat from an uber-bitch into the angel of Albert Square and Minty from a nasty slum landlord into a lovable loser.

ok I dont know if someone else thinks this, but I had a brainwave whilst watching Eastenders, what if Dylan is Carlys dad?

1) Kevin & Shirley broke up for some reason
2) they both have a love of cars
3) Shirley and Dylan seem to have lots of secret meetings, and secrets.
4) he is repulsed by the idea of wanting to have sex with her, and whilst he is a mate of her dads, I don't know if that adds up repulsion.
5) this is Eastenders, so why not?

I may be wrong but the obvious conclusion is that he is Carly's father

I am not sure if this point has been raised in previous discussions but I didn't think it was a good example to see Carly (twice) and Deano once getting into 'strangers' cars ie Dylan and then Shirley!!

My wife thought Shirley was in Bad Girls, is this correct? Thank you!!

That's correct. I must say I think it's great having Linda Henry on board! I thoroughly enjoyed her in Bad Girls as 'top dog Yvonne Atkins' She is a good actress and I hope she stays in EE for a long time to come.
