Sky Email login problem

Hi anyone having problems recently loging into their sky.com Email? Mac OSX 10.4 Safari and Netscape. I get a message saying "Too many re-directs". I Emailed sky (via another account) and they responded "Thank you for contacting Sky Broadband Technical Support. Please be aware that we are currently experiencing Technical problems with our web-mail facility at the moment. Work is currently ongoing as we try to resolve this as soon as possible." So they know there is something wrong, but their reply is very unhelpful. This has been going on for over a week now, is it a problem at my end?

Today, for the first time since signing up a month ago, I have access to my Sky email via the Sky BB website. I can't figure out how to access it with Outlook Express though. Is it POP3.sky.com and SMTP.sky.com?

I have been with Sky Broadband since September and am still not able to access the email portal

Point out to sky that until you can access the portal and read the terms and conditions (which are waiting in your in-box) then they have not fulfilled their part of the contract and you consider the deal to still be un-binding. I did this and haven't been charged for my Sky max connection up to now.

I've made umpteen phone calls, written letters and had all sorts of excuses - was even told that their records show my problem was sorted in October, then received a letter in November saying that they noticed i had a problem and could i get in touch !

thank god for Hotmail !!

Ive just tried setting up Outlook express to access my email on sky and its worked first time !!

So how come i can access it from outlook express and yet can't log-in using the same user name and password on sky broadbands homepage?

Anybody know how i might be able to set up additional email users without logging in on sky broadband homepage?

Same problem persists (OP). I have followed this thread and tried to use my STMP and POP3 sky codes in Netscape, which logs in, downloads my Email and crashes. Still no help from Sky Broadband since their "we are woking on it" statement.

If you can't get in via sky broadband website try going in via sky.com and logging into your account there then fully update your profile - completing every field - it may just make the difference.

OP here. I still can't access my sky.com Email account through the skybb website. Thanks to kevwill I can access Email through Netscape. Cheers mate. So clearly the problem is with the Sky website.
