Hi.
Everytime a police car gets called to coronation street, how come it's always the same one?Do Greater Manchester police only have one car.The plate is always
YS52 ZSO and is always a vauxhall astra.

Blimey, you're observant lol
I had noticed that it was always the same nurse at the hospital regardless of dept - Martin Platt

I assume the same officer deals with Granada when they need to communicate so I assume he would always bring his car perhaps so that they get to know each other and saves time, perhaps!

well it's always the same condescending police woman, so maybe it's her favourite patrol car

I thought that almost all police cars were vauxhall astras!

I think there are a bunch of 'dud' numberplates that are kept for tv programmes. The same applies to phone numbers - if you ever hear/see a full phone number in a tv programme, it's a dud, don't bother trying it.

Also forgot to mention the same car was getting fixed at the garage by Kevin Webster a few months back, minus the blue lights, possibly plain clothes duty that day.

The reg of the police car is YC52 ZSO and not YS.
