That's a good question - I see what you mean. Matt's not my second fave but not because I'm used to thinking of him as a male rival to Mark.

I just haven't quite warmed to him. I might vote for him depending on performances. I'm certainly not against him (as long as they don't bang on about journey! ).

But L&V dances excite more plus I feel Louisa really wants (and needs it) more than Matt.

I suppose Louisa and Mark share that quality of really getting into dances, especially on the latin side... so if you love it in one, you love it in the other?

It's just something I was wondering about because I think there is a fairly level playing field at the moment, so it isn't clear cut to say Mark is best, Louisa second, although it's a completely valid opinion. So it just interests me that most people seem to go that way with it... I wondered if there is something obvious about being a Mark fan which automatically makes you take to Louisa if that makes sense!

judging by this so far if its not a Matt v Mark final then Louisa should win coz shes picking up most of the alternative votes as well as the ones from her own supporters?

I think you said it yourself. The only thing in common with Mark and Louisa is the obvious joy they seem to radiate - especially in the latin.

I can't think of anything else. I think for the public in general there might be more of a joint Mark/Matt sportsperson support vs the stage school girls. And whichever male survives will pick up alot of the other's support maybe

I was a Mark supporter, but have moved to Louisa in recent weeks -happy if either win.

If it was Mark, Emma and Louisa in the final I would be satisfied with any outcome - I'd just be happy to see Matt out of it.

Voting for Matt & Lilia now that Carol has gone, I have always preferred ballroom to latin and Matt dances it beautifully.
However, I would be happy to see Louisa and Vincent win.

Redkate, I think that is what it is for me. Mark and Louisa's latin is fab to watch and I would say I am more a fan of the latin than the ballroom. The other two don't excite me when they dance, even though Matt in particular is very good at ballroom.

I would really like to see Emma and Darren win, and cannot understand the hate against her, if not Emma ... then I would favour Matt and Lilia.

I don't understand what people have got against Emma either! Thought her Paso was excellent (her best so far; I wasn't equally impressed with her Samba, for instance ), and the 'dancing' she did in the Spice Girls was of course not of understanding. But I'm for Mark, and if he (indeed, horror upon horror!) would go out I'd vote for Matt or Emma. But not Louisa, I think she's unfortunately very much overmarked. She never looks elegant or in control of her dances.

If the worst happens i will transfer my votes from Mark & Karen to Louisa. Not technically perfect but a joy to watch! Emma & Matt to bland - sorry!

Exactly for me id if louisa went i would back mark because i think both of them show a genuine love and enthusiasm for both learning the dances and performing them.

Matt although he has improved still seems to view it more as a competition and i just dont feel it with Emma (and she was my fav before the show began).

Mark and louisa have that special spark and i think thats also down to their partners who they have just clicked with...anyway for me 2nd fav = Mark

If Mark didn't get to the final (pleeeeeeeeeease don't let that happen!) then I'm not sure I'd be bothered who won - I'd have to vote on what I saw on the night. Louisa would edge it at the moment, but no idea really.

If Mark was to go out ( hope and pray that he doesn't) then i would probably support Louisa . Cannot warm to Matt or Emma at all

I think Mark and Louisa are similar in that when they do it right, they make you really enjoy their dancing.

Personally I want Louisa to win - she's been consistenly good, I love her style and if she would just 'finish a line' she would be great. I agreed with Craig that in the group dance I forgot she was a celeb

This echoes my view exactly. I started off in the Mark camp, then have warmed to Louisa more and more each week. I wouldn't be upset if either won

I think Mark is getting more of the female admirer vote than the sportsman vote. I think they differ so much in personality/image and dance style I don't see much linking them.

Matt to win for me. If not him then I'd happily vote for Louisa.
It wouldn't bother me if Emma won. Wouldn't want Mark to win. Very boring guy and really dislike Karen's choreography, plus his ballroom is poor.
Throughout SCD I've always appreciated ballroom talent because I think it's harder to master and love a great ballroom routine hence my support for Denise way over Jill and being a Colin fan - he and Erin did fantastic ballroom routines.

If Mark goes, my tear stained and hysterical vote would probably go to Louisa at the moment, but that is subject to change. Emma just doesn't connect with me when she dances, and Matt, just doesn't seem to enjoy it as much as Mark and Louisa do.

If Vincent annoys the hell out of me again though, my vote would switch to Matt.
