With apologies if this has already been mentioned (I searched but couldn't find anything) but there's another new character turning up on the Street - played by an actor who's been on Corrie before (twice!). It's a guy called Sonny who flirts with Michelle in the Rovers on Dec 22, actor Pal Aron who was also in The Bill.

He DID NOT play Jayesh, it says that in Inside Soap but it wasnt him!

He actually did play Jayesh the first time we saw him when they found out that Sunita was living with Des around her first appearance., than when the whole Maya debacle happened a couple of years later he was replaced by Ace Bhatti.

Is he a regular character or just a guest shot? I don't know what's going on with the British soaps.

He did play Jayesh, I'm sure as it says so on Corrie.net. He is rather lovely!

As somebody has earlier said - he was the original Jayesh, then when they brought the character back he was played by somebody else!

his name was Adam in Casualty (or it may have been holby) i seem to remember him having AIDS too but i could be wrong

Yeah he played Adam in Casualty.
