Well' they are on BBC 4 right now for the next half an hour, the concert is from 1979.

I wish I'd seen this thread yesterday

I loved The Specials. I've still got the original tape of the first album and even now 27 years later I still can't make up my mind which is my favorite song on it

That is one group I would love to reform

yeah, that was pretty damned good, nice to see that again.
Next week it's Siouxsie & the Banshees, another must see

Spellbinding! Night Shift and Voodoo Dolly towards the end of the set were magnificent. Most of the songs they played were from Juju (their best album IMO), so I was very pleased with it.

Personally, I was most impressed by the musicians - bearing in mind the limitations of equipment and recording of that era, they were brilliant

It did sound fantastic! It was like listening to the actual studio recordings of the songs, which is a testament to what fantastic musicians they were.
