Oh my goodness! How cheap is that?

Edit to add: Can you imagine Mark doing the same? Or Matt? Or even Louisa? The thought of Louisa doing the same is almost incestuous!

Add this to the BBC omission on their TV page and I am disgusted.

“Emma, 30, who started out as the hot favourite, has been relegated to the bottom two positions in the BBC dancing contest over the past couple of weeks.

She admitted: “There are so many emotions. Being in the bottom two is disheartening. I’m scared. It was frightening last week and I just want to cry.”

A BBC source revealed: “Emma is really feeling the pressure. She cannot understand why the public hate her.””

Cry Baby

Hilariously desperate.

Sorry nothing against her furthering her career and I'm sure she's a nice girl but this is getting ridiculous. They do not want Mark to win. My opinion. Don't get angry at me please for saying it.

OMG! If that doesn't stir up the anti-Emma votes then I don't know what will. I only hope the judges mark her on her ability, and not gush and give her 10's to try and keep her in the competition. If they do that then she might just stand a chance otherwise she is a goner.

FRIENDS fear Emma Bunton is cracking under the pressure of trying to stay in Strictly Come Dancing.

She’s turned into Cry Baby Spice over the past few days, fearing that viewers hate her.

And she is terrified she’ll be voted out tonight, just a fortnight away from the final.

Emma, 30, who started out as the hot favourite, has been relegated to the bottom two positions in the BBC dancing contest over the past couple of weeks.

She admitted: “There are so many emotions. Being in the bottom two is disheartening. I’m scared. It was frightening last week and I just want to cry.”

A BBC source revealed: “Emma is really feeling the pressure. She cannot understand why the public hate her.”

On top of the show, Emma has been busy promoting her album, Life In Mono. Last night bookies made her odds-on favourite to go.

And she gave her own hopes a dent in training – by accidentally kneeing partner Darren Bennett, 29, in the groin.

Strictly Come Dancing is on BBC1 tonight at 5.40pm."

Okay, maybe she didn't take that picture specially for the front cover of Daily Star. I HATE the tabloid!

I don't think it's a matter of anyone not wanting Mark (or Louisa or Matt) to win. It's more a case of the Star getting an excuse to stick a soft porn celeb shot on their cover, accompanied by an 'exclusive' story. It's just about money. Can't see it helping Emma much given Strictly's 'family' audience. Hope not.

I feel sorry for Emma, that piece is cobbled together from other interviews with her, and the obligatory 'insider' quote, the photo's come from an older shoot, she's probably had nothing to do with it - however, it's having a hugely negative effect for her.

Not bothered.

I don't fancy Emma at all, and airbrushed tabloid glam photos are more amusing/desperate than arousing, but it's not something worth getting "outraged" over.

(big outbreak of Mary Whitehouse fever in here atm)

I do not understand why she is getting so upset. If she does go, she can at least be proud that she got three tens and got to the quarter finals. It is not the end of the world, if you get knocked out of a dancing competition!

Maybe that's why Darren wasn't with her in the ITT (supposedly attending a charity concert or something), we'd probably see him walking funny with a grimace in his face!

But I think it's cheap of Daily Star put a picture like that on the cover just to sell papers! Imagine they do that to the other three contestants. Disgusting!

There was a bit about Matt saying "I hate it x 20" about the Samba.

And he walked out but was persuaded to return.

Ohh dear - this isn't going to do Emma any favours!

Typical of the Star to do something so tacky, though.

I've some sympathy for Emma in that I wonder where she thinks her support will be coming from.
I expect many of those who've voted for her, as with some of the other competitors, have really voted for her partner.

The Spice Girls are dead and buried and she has had the least media attention in the intervening years.
She's a bit bland, an unremarkable voice which has been reflected by her achievements since.
At a guess many of those who liked the "Spice Girls" will now deny ever having done so, such is the fickleness of the public, although she does have some ardent fans on here.

Does she need the money?
Her latest venture into the pop world with a new CD has been reported as "partly self-financed"

If a record company hasn't complete confidence in your product, this should sound warning bells, or was she talked into it by her management company? If you aren't doing much, the on-cost of such people is disproportionate to their effect.
I've said before she doesn't engage with the public. She hardly ever looks straight at the camera, which many people will interpret as a lack of sincerity.
I don't know why she bothers, but maybe her income from the Spice Girls wasn't as much as people think and won't last her into retirement.
Sad really.

That is from an old photoshoot - you are absolutely right.
