Christmas Pressie
Ever Elegant

Hey again, I'm buying my dad an mp3 for xmas so want one that is:
-easy to use
-under £100
-has a display screen
-doesn't need to hold many songs
-preferably not a shuffle.

If anyone has or knows of an mp3 that ticks a few of the boxes above then could you please post about it. Really need replies today because need to order it this weekend to make it in time and send it to him by xmas.

Thanks so much

Sorry thought I'd add this here rather than make another thread, was looking for above on amazon and some products say: "Simple drag-and-drop music and data files, no software needed" what does this mean?

Thanks again

Drag and Drop means you can copy music to and from the player using Windows Explorer ... i.e. copying directly from your music folder to the player. "no software needed" suggests that you don't need to instal aditional software like Itunes or Windows Media to transfer music.

I can recommend the creative muvo series of mp3 player, they are very simple, have very few controls and play mp3 and wma, takes 1 AAA battery, there are versions available up to 1Gb, maybe more.

How many gbs would you like the mp3 to have? If its his first mp3 player a basic one would be ok. You can get them anywhere for about £15 (for 128mb) If you'd like more space i'd suggest a ipod nano they are around £99 and they have a display screen they can be used on shuffle or not on shuffle.
